The Situation Room

Alright.
So I have ONE single phone number, for a room INSIDE the White House.

It is called "The Situation Room"
If you call them they say "Situation Room, this is (name)"
But if you ask what they are for, or present them with a situation. They either hang up saying something like "Good day sir" or nothing at all.
OR they threaten that they are tracing the call. But calling someone, to ask who they are isn't against the law. (As far as I know)

We even called a government information hotline, and they just looked it up on Wikipedia, and said the exact same thing to us that we had read before calling them
Does anyone know what the situation room is?

PM for the number, to try to find out yourself.
Comment if you know what the room is. :D

Previous experience has taught me not to fuck with the government - they always seem to win or cost me several thousand

That's not the real Situation Room. You've got a ghost number that belongs to a bureau that investigates crackpots and malcontents. If you call it, you're on their radar. For the rest of you life you will suspect that every man you see in a black suit is following you.

It's really the Situation Room, they say so when I call :D

They would just say "Hello?" if it was the FBI, not pretend to be another official room....

And they can't do anything. I haven't called it in over a year, maybe 2. And nothings happened to anyone that's called it before, and a few people tried it on a few phones.
Like 10 phones over a year period :D

No suits came :D

lol this sounds interesting. A phone number that will pick up and answer, but if you say the wrong thing they will hang up. I would just think of a bunch of different things to say and try calling on a bunch of payphones lol. Situation sounds like trouble, terrorism would probably spark their interest. Maybe you should just ask simply whats the situation in the situation room today? lol

That was Cannabineer's Idea. I like that idea also.
I do want to act like I thought I was calling the Jersey Shore house at least once though :D
