Clinton tells the truth when he says that the economy can't improve until the debt is cleared from the system.

Their only concern is to make Obama fail. Fuck America and fuck their own constituents. They don't give shit about this country.

i wonder why paul ryan was not in his district, telling his constituents that they should be paying more taxes during these tough times instead of being able to keep more of their own hard-earned money.

why wouldn't he do that?

Because janesville has high unemployment
Ryans own family depended on Social security after his father died

And he isnt going to get reelected

I wanted to go on record by not simply clicking the "like" button, but to EMPHATICALLY state that I agree with this statement. And this "REPUBLICAN" would love nothing more than to engage in some lively debate with me to refute this argument.

Making sure Obama fails and unwinding EVERYTHING he's done, is absolutely in the best interest of the country. He's admittedly trying to "fundamentally transform" the country, Fuck him and Fuck that. You can whine all you want, getting rid of this simpleton as fast as humanly possible should be the focus of EVERY Conservative.

You people seem to forget your own vitriol and fervor towards Bush in 2004, and that guy was a fucking progressive.

Rewriting history? That seems to be the new GOP talking point. Make shit up and then claim it to be gospel truth sent directly from on High.

This is me rolling my eyes at you. Make sure you roll them back. I need them to see shit.

I'm not quite sure how he could be mistaken for anything else. As an individual he was a Conservative, but he sure as hell didn't govern as one.

President Bush did defend his tax cuts by saying the government should give taxpayers back their money. But more often his administration justified the cuts as a way to get the economy moving. That's a Keynesian rationale for cutting taxes, an argument that reinforces the superstition that government can and should control the economy.
Not remotely Conservative

Federal spending drops like a stone from 1995 to 2000 and then rises inexorably until the present. Necessary spending on defense after September 11 does not explain the increases. Non-defense discretionary spending will have risen by 32.4 percent from 2000 to 2005.
Not Conservative at all

The welfare state has grown in three bursts, the first two under FDR and LBJ. We are living through the third burst fueled by an expensive prescription drug benefit passed at President Bush's urging.
Starting to become Obvious

The education bill early in President Bush's term both pumped money into public education and asserted federal control over a traditional task of the states.
This is Conservative?

President Bush signed McCain-Feingold. Enough said.
Tell me again why I have to waste my time laying this out?

Enough of the cut & paste you all so dearly love. How about his support of Amnesty for illegal aliens... That's sure as hell not Conservative.

Tarp? Again, not Conservative, not by any measure.

You guys always seem to intentionally confuse Republicans with Conservatives. There are damn few Conservatives in the Republican ranks, which explains perfectly why the debt is where it is today.

Real cute little game. If you cut and paste you complain about it. And if we use our own words you demand that we back it up. If we cite references you claim they are biased and invalid.

What's the matter? I thought you liked mind games? Or do you only like games that are fixed? Hmm?

Really? I challenge you to find me ONE example of where I complained about cut & paste being used or where I bitched about you using your own words, you really need to stop confusing me with other members.

And, I didn't see a response to the actual point of my post. Deflect much? Bush was a Progressive... laugh, sneer and mock all you want, he belongs more to you and the ilk like you than he does to anyone who really espouses Conservatism.

Progressivism - drawing together the worst scumbags, from all walks of life and political parties for well over 80 years.

Bush is a neocon. Progressive? Really? He may have been more moderate than today's Republican party, but he is no progressive.

Why is it so hard to admit that it is the right that has indeed moved to the right? Why do you always try to paint it as if anyone who doesn't vote for Ron Paul is a bleeding heart liberal? Bush is not a progressive... Obama is not a socialist... Get over it.
