Yeah, well that is exactly what I'm trying to establish. Roots Accelerator runs $70 for the 250ml bottle.
I usually use hg's complete line with good results. I would rather use a complete base nutrient if such a thing exists. HG advertises on their site that Aqua flakes is a complete macro/micro nutrient, which I have a hard time believing since it ia derived from only 6 ingredients (I think). They also state that we should not need cal-mag with RO since Aqua flakes has 10-12% Cal-mag in it, but l know that that is bullshit, cause my girls go Ca-mg deficient if I do not add cal-mag.
Kind
I've used Aqua Flakes just by itself, and I see a huge difference between when I used roots excelurator and when I do not. I highly recommend sticking with it. I hear GH's new knock-off is a spot-on mimic.

Cheers, that is all I did this run, usually I run HG complete line. After 1 week down, I can already see a difference from not using Roots Accelerator :(
Too me that $70 for the 250ml bottle is well spend, but I'll give it a view more days before I add it back in.

i'm annoyed at the total price for everything required for the H&G line. i'm considering about substituting already purchased bloom and enzymes in replace of their recommended line. anyone have success with this?

i would stick with their stuff. the nutes are designed to all work together as a system. they all compliment each other. like i said before the only other things i add are a few other root stimulators and sweeteners. also my silica and calmag come from different places. i use dyna-gro protekt and botanicare cal mag

aqua flakes is pretty much the same as their coco. I think its just one or two nutes that are a little different. Imo the roots excell is good for cloning, but just ok after that. I have had better results using General Organics bioroot. The two plants using the bioroot had roots coming out of the smart pots before both the h&g plants. I didnt follow the h&g schedule. I would adjust my Ec to what my plants were telling me. I found running their schedule at 100% was way to much. I was growing jack herer with them which is a very touchy strain when it comes to nutes. And still say you should cut out the part a completely by week 6-7. Too much n

I'm trying out HG for the first time and everything is great following the schedule except for Algen Extract ( my free sample did not include this, and in the dosing charts HG included they had AE blacked out with a sharpie. Hmm?) I sub'd with Bio-weed. I'm doing a few other hopefully non-evasive add-ons. Hygrozyme, Liquid Karma
Mykos and my good luck charm Superthrive.

How much bolt did you see with your Herer grow? I'm growing Jack Flash #5 from seed and will select the right Mother. I will do a 4x4 scrog and (of course) want it to fill out perfectly. Any recommendations on growing Jacks would be great>>

I plan on reducing A in flwr. Makes sense..

Thanks!!

i run A all the way through same as B and have great results A isnt ALL N it has a lot of other nutes in it that are needed in combination with B but can't be combined unless diluted in water first. keep in even ratio

When I say 'around here', I mean shops in my area.. And shops in my area do not carry that line at present.. It would be a cold day in hell before I'd order fertilizer from a magazine, or the internet..
Besides, I can grow some damn nice plants with cheapo stuff (and get this, I don't even flush unless I screwed something up to make them unhealthy).. I'd be kind of afraid that if I tried these miracle products, the plants would uproot themselves and eat my kids before finally turning on me..
maybe you should give it a shot, ive ran with the cheap stuff and will never go back to that crap after seeing what H&G can do. the cheap stuff cant compete with these nutes. that because cheap nutes use cheap derivatives. those cheap nutes leave a shit load of salt buildup. and your plants maybe be green and alive but after using a good line, u will notice the difference in never having a def. and watching the trichome development spread before your eyes, density that breaks windows, and the best smoke ive ever had was H&G. i can tell when other growers use cheap lines by the smell and taste

i recirc coco a+b and all additives in coco coir in ebb and flow buckets with great success

Really? Your set up is impressive. I have talked to several H&G people and they all told me that Cocos A&B is for drain to waste and to use Aqua Flakes for recircing my coco. A

Are you using RO water as well as coco? How much cal mag to you add? The Humbolt wholesale person told me to use CES's Plant Amp (Ca) to supplement the coco Ca uptake. Have you seen any deficiencies?

What's you Mid Flower (week 5-6) ppm? Thanks and good luck with your harvest.

i was told different. it was explained to me that coco has more cal mag and stuff in it to fix the def that are common when running coco since the medium leaches away certain minerals. i dont usually share my nute recipes, but i might be mod soon so i guess i'll share haha. i use A+B in equal amounts and supplement that with botanicare calmag also in equal amounts with A+B so example:

100ml A
100ml B
100ml Calmag

i show no def and everything is very happy. i add in other additives as well since they dont really mess with the ec besides those 3. when i use shooting powder i cut everything down in that ratio until an ec of .5/.6 then use it. i have found that ratio to be ideal for veg-flower. my ppm through flower is 1.0 raising to 1.4ish ppm is not accurate across different meters but ec is always the same so do your own conversion. i have tested HG from as low as .5 ec up to nearly 3.0ec and i found that the ideal is in that 1.1-1.2 range for the majority of growth. it shows no burn, and the plants produce and grow very quickly. also my PH never moves more than maybe .1-.2 if i set it at 5.8 in 7 days it wont be more than 6.0 most of the time it doesnt move from 5.8 at all.

“House & Garden, Humboldt Wholesale, and their representatives do not have and have never had any affiliation or collaborative history of any kind with CANNA or its representatives. To the contrary, CANNA and House and Garden are direct business competitors. We hope that this public statement clarifies any possible misunderstanding.” ------ house and garden http://www.house-garden.us/Screenshot.png

besides, if William, really had a better formula, he wouldn't need a "dripclean" to stop the stuff from falling off, than he wouldn't need two types of sea weed, a separate nitrogen supplement,an amino mix (organic nitrogen), PLUS a green up spray to keep the plants somewhat green before needing 3 different PK's that he could'nt fit in. To his honor, it is fairly clear now that the main office does not endorse those "used car salesman" statements to ride on other's fame.

many snake oil pushers creeping around, I'm getting very worried about all these companies that only registers certain products of their lines, leaving us, the consumers in the dark about what we ingest.
If its not heavy metals it's synthetic hormones... :(

What does part A have that part B doesn't?

I've done a side by side test, using botanicare Cns17 vs the H&G and couldn't tell a difference between the two except for price.
