I added the liquid Top Shooter yesterday, when I check this morning most the tops where dropping over like it sucked the life out of the stems.
This caused me to have add netting ..... I'm just glad I didn't have to be anywhere this morning!:weed:
Some problems are better then others!

Edit: I should say that I've used the powder for two years with good results, just never seen it work so fast.

Top shooter is like shooting powder but a liquid?
Yes, from one of the feeding chart PDFs:

Top Shooter is a liquid version of Shooting Powder and contains high levels of phosphorus and potassium. Top Shooter should be used during the last weeks of flowering and is compatible with all nutrient lines.

The charts also clear says Shooting powder OR Top Shooter.

Anybody been able to find out any of the ingredients of H&G base nutes? I'm trying to find out which essential minerals are in their Cocos A&B besides NPK.... How much Calcium, ect, ect....? Their products are exempt from laws forcing them to list ingredients & percentages because they register their nutes as "Specialty Fertilizers".
I emailed House & Garden twice without getting a reply.
Any help or ideas?
I'd like to know what I'm paying for!

I have a question I'm in coco using drip lines. I have 18 big girls in a 5x10. My question is how do I flush? Can I use the drippers and just ph'd water in my 50 gallon rez. I can't take them out cause I used a net this run.

I need to see a pic of the 5x10, been playing with dwc and have considered trying a system with droppers or an ebb and flow...

For clones with fresh roots how much ml of A&B aqua flakes you guys think is ideal. I give them 2.5 ml per gal as soon as soon as the roots develop and transfer them into small pots.

I'm refreshing my rez about once every 10 days, using Shooting Powder, and according to charts I should use a certain amount per week. How does refilling the rez once every 10-14 days affect that?

I'd be saving quite a bit of shooting powder but topped off a couple of times by then. PPM is still pretty much the same as when I added the first shooting powder (because I have it just a tad too high so the ppm climbs slowly and ph drops slowly, allowing me to top off with water only).

Years ago when this stuff just got introduced it quickly got the reputation of being a good plant killer (people dropping it in soil without lowering base nutes/ppm first) which still scares me a little of using it. I actually wasn't going to use it but got some disappointing phenos I want to fatten up. Seems to suck the life out of the lower leaves fast.

I switched from House and Garden over to Dyna Gro... maybe 1 year ago or so..?
Anyway, I'm switching back to House and Garden to see if I can keep the same yields but get improved smell or taste... Most importantly, taste.

I'm using the Coco AB in House and Garden Coco. Coco AB (less than label says), Earth Juice Micro-nutes 1ml/gal, and CalMag+ at 3-4ml/gal.

Anyone else running Coco AB right now?

The Coco AB comes out to 4-3-9.. with the addition of Cal Mag, I am getting more N, I believe. DG turned me on to the results of higher N. I am hoping the CalMag adds enough N to keep my yields up.

Hi, Hey glad to see this! I would hand pour tons of roughly ph'd chorine free water. Though if you use a clearex type product then you are also cleaning the salts from your drip system. I flush 2 days with the full HG line. I also do a mild flush just after top booster through the drip lines. I'm in a 5x5 tent now and will double the size next run. I'm doing 8 now and will double this. I too am in coco. in 3gal root pots. Drip as well. I have been doing a net (scrog) for a while now. I have a ton of questions and maybe can give some tips on scrog! I'm really looking forward to the new 5x10. Ventilation? Light mover? Air circulation? Watts? ( I am limited to two 600's, watt wise). Drip! I haven't found the perfect drip irrigation heads! Love the drip though as I can recirculate run off at will. Also with three emitters there is a margin of dry area (which is why I would only do the final flush Off the drippers.)

Thanks True! everyone.

I can say from personal use of h&g that it so far it is the bomb. Use small amounts for excellent affects and my ph is never out by more then .3 in soil so yeh I give thumbs up,would recommend and will be moving on to bloom and flower nutes in range soon when I leave veg state. My brother and mate will be switching from other big names aswell to h&g after comparisons. :-)
