I am going to TRY to give them one more week to veg dammit... only because the AK-47 is a week behind with her 7 colas
I see a lot of bending and Supercropping on the GoldLeaf*** to control her stretch.
tic toc.....

Man, I think I may have to flip tomorrow or Tues.
Wed at the VERY latest or the stretch is gonna be a bitch.
I defoliated a bit more this morning, removing all of the first of the side branches from the bottom of all 8 colas on the GLF.
Leaving the AK pretty much alone at this point for a final push on veg.

Every time I add my EWC+ tea, I see an explosion of roots and foliage.
Just added the last of my first batch to my res change Friday.
I started a new brew this afternoon. (2 gallons) (you lose some thru the straining process)
I add 3 - 4 cups every three days or so.

I'll get a pic this evening, the difference is astonishing.

I put my screen in today.
You may notice that I only have the strings going one direction.
It makes it easier to slide and move the branches around.
Then to help keep them where I want, I tie them to the side, back, front...etc.

Mainline scrog, you get bragging rights
Haha that's funny !
Nugbuckets used a cut down tomato cage to tie the colas to the top ring to keep them separated.
I don't have room for 2 cages so this works.
With the 2" squares, you run a risk of breaking off a top when pulling down thru to move over.
I can slide them over along the strings till they dip below then bring them up thru a row or 2 over, whatever is needed.

I added 4-5 cups of FRESH, right out of the brew bucket, TEA yesterday afternoon.
This morning I pulled each plant and took a peek at the roots.
HOLY MOTHER !!!
The current in the tub has them all up in a big ball, about the size of a football each.

I am going to flip Friday.
I will leave lights on constant for about 24 hours, then adjust the light schedule to 12/12.
This will also probably be the LAST time I will be able to remove the plants for the res change & cleaning.
I actually took the screen back out till Friday.

I will get some pics of the roots then.

Time to start making pretty flowers !!! :weed:

Great work Fish, how long will you be flowering?
Roughly 60 days.

Well... F- it... I had to flip today.
Things are just getting TOO TALL !!!
It is what it is at this point.
I'm hoping for a minimal stretch on the GoldLeaf and MAX stretch on the AK.
Of course it won't work out that way.
So, the light came on this AM at 4:00 and off at 7:00 PM... just a couple minutes ago.
Been on 18 hours of light.
15 hours today.
12 hours tomorrow.

Giddyup!

saw this mainlining pic and thought of you,, OH and your plants are huge, gonna be a ride ,, cant wait to see how you squeeze all that in there,, should be EPIC
Man, that is an awesome looking plant.
It is basically topped once for 2 mains with their accompanying side branches.
Notice how the branches closest to the trunk are much heartier than those farther away from the trunk (feeding center).
In mainlining, all colas are given equal distribution of nutrients, hormones, etc.
And all 8 colas are reasonably similar in size throughout the grow.

VERY cool tho how he strapped & tied that thing !
