The HYGROSTAT-THERMOSTAT COMBINATION DEVICE

Being anal, I can't help seeing the crude way temperature and humidity is approached with largish grows.
I put this down to us all being amateurs (no one went to weed university) and not all knowing what is on the market.

I bring you the HYGROSTAT-THERMOSTAT COMBINATION DEVICE

This one operates from 40 to 90% humidity.

From the datasheet

Hygrostats from the FLZ series switch on control cabinet
heaters or filterfans when a preset relative humidity is exceeded.
The relative humidity is kept above the dew point and the
condensation of water on electrical components and the
corrosion of unprotected sheet metal is prevented. The
electronic combination device unites thermostat and hygrostat
in one housing and, at the same time, monitors the relative
humidity and the temperature independently of each other.

This manufacturer does two models.

The 600 is a mechanical one and the 610 is electronic so more expensive.
The 600 is about $45 if I convert from local pricing to $.

It controls the humidity by controlling your heater and fan. The bigger model can set a temperature too.

So there you have it, a cheap way of managing your shit.

Oh yeah, they mount on these type of rails with a clip on motion. The racks are about $6

Din Rail Top Hat, TS35 Slotted, 500mm x 35mm x 7.5mm

Cheerio, have fun now
Keep your dick in a vice.

After chatting with one of our members, I see that I have not adequately explained why you should use this.
Reason 1, the stability of environmental conditions.
Reason 2, when you have high humidity you have a calcium deficiency, as it is a passive nutrient that gets transported up from the roots by the pulling of the water being evaporated by the stomata. High humidity means low water absorption with low calcium as a result.
Reason 3, In the presence of enough calcium your plants it is basically immune to things like white mold.
When the spore drills down into the plant to look for water it finds a layer of pectin and gets fucked over.

These units operate a fan and a heater of your choosing. But you also need AC for when it gets too hot.
