The GPW Competition of RIU

Welcome!
I'm hosting a GPW competition for the members of RIU. This isn't going to be all apologies and rainbows like the last comp I did under the DG flag. This one is much more serious.

What are the rules?
The participants are the judges for everything again this time. They also make up the rules. No participants, no rules.
There are some in stone rules though, such as we can't exclude a member from wanting to participate. Also, if you get banned, you're out. Follow TOS. Have fun.
I'll be running this thing solo, or with all of RIU. The choice is yours.

How many watts are you going to run ?

Im going ultra-mini for this. 8” by 8” with a 15w household bulb.

I’m assuming this is strictly lighting watts?

Probably around 300.

I think it should start Sept.1 with a window of a month or so to enter? How long can we do what in?

I've never done a GPW calculation of my garden. I'm interested,but the way my bank account is setup....lol nah, I run perpetual. I'm not sure how to quantify GPW. I'm not even sure I can in my situation.

So my plan was to actually see if there is any truth to a rumor I heard that dark seeds have better germination rate, and make healthier plants. Also was going to make single cola plants as I haven’t tried that yet (also need 16 viable females). Not sure this would be best suited for a competition but I’m game. Will initially be running a SF1000 from Spider Farmer, then two SF1000’s for Veg, in Flower tent will have 4ea SF1000’s and a AGLEX2000W (about 500 actual): so in total I’ll be running 900W in flower tent and 200W in Veg. I’m still waiting on 2 more SF1000’s. The pic showing lights is just what I have flowering right now.

I’m also a beginner but competition only makes us better right?

I’d obviously want actual wattage, we could use manufacturer specs of actual draw to allow more people in or have to show pics with meters and keep it smaller.

Am give you Mars chocolate for 3gr/watt... doesnt mean you will go on planet Mars then..
