I once bought a live trap and took 27 of my old neighbors cats to the animal shelter over the course of 2 months without telling her. The animal shelter told me after the first three they didn't want them anymore, so i let the cats go in the animal shelter parking lot. I let 23 cats go in the animal shelter parking lot. One night I even got two in the same trap, it was awesome. One cat I am pretty certain died on the way to the shelter, I was driving about 80 with the back windows down on the car and some how the poor little bastard got out of the live trap and jumped out the window. "Could a kitty survive that ? I have felt bad about it ever since" The neighbor never even noticed a good 2/3 of her cats missing, and I could have a garden without it being a cat shit minefield.
I think a lot of localities have laws against that kind of hoarding, so you could maybe have sent in an anonymous tip on her and animal control would have ended up taking care of it. No way that's a healthy number of pets to have.

I know but they would have knocked and tore her heart out grabbing all the cats. They all had collars, and all had names. But no, very unhealthy. On the up side there was not a bird, squirrel, mouse, or reptile within a mile. Lol

It's kind of you to think of it that way. I forgot they would take them all (and restrict her having pets again probably). Pray the gods she bothers to fix them at least... (please don't tell me if she doesn't)

Keep hearing more and more news about dogs protecting owners and smelling when people are about to have a seizures, when diabetics need their insulin, they can smell cancer ffs.

Cats ain't got nothin on dogs!

Post any heroic dog saving lives or whatever you see on recent news, again....fuck cats!
Cats lower blood-pressure and some can be great companions ime... Just like people, each should
be treated as an individual. Btw- I have 3 Large dogs, and 2 cats between my 2 homes .
