I consider myself pretty conservative, and I think today's version of republicans are nothing short of a bunch of brainwashed fools.
Democrats aren't free of blame either, but I have yet to see either party try to create policy that could help the average working person. Be it fair trade, single payer, or a industrial policy.
I will give credit to most democrats on banking issues, they are far more sensible than republicans mindless babbling of free markets. To bad both parties showed there true colors on the bailout bills.

but the candidates you advocate for (a kind word for "endlessly spam for") do advocate:
*ignoring the equal protection clause
*abolishing the birthright citizenship in the fourteenth amendment
*abolishing the 16th and 17th amendments
*ignoring the "cruel and unusual punishment" clause of the eighth amendment
*called the fifteenth amendment a "racially based entitlement"
*can't figure out that the supremacy clause overrides the tenth amendment and prevents you racist assholes from ignoring the fourteenth on a state level
