I am looking for some good new nutrients for veg and bloom. I was using Sensi 2 part a & b grow and bloom. But am thinking about switching. Anyone have any good suggestions? I want something that wont over nute and give my finish a bad taste. Even with flushing. Any info is appreciated!

Hey bro - are you using the liquid version because they make a powder version that seems cheaper, Home Depot sells both liqiod and powder. Thx.
If your talking about Espoma start, grow and bloom I'm using the liquid. Earth juice is my main but replaced the grow and bloom with Espoma to try out and still adding the EJ meta K and Catylist. Espoma liquid is easy to get vs going to a hydro store.

I was gifted a 3 pk of Roots Organic Uprising - Foundation, Grow, and Bloom. They're dry ingredients and really easy to use. I normally run organics so I was a bit skeptical, but so far I am loving the results. Its also a great way to take that first step to water only.

I always throw a bit of Gypsum, Lime, or Elemental...really whatever is within reach when I'm mixing up base soil and then, depending on what I'm doing (cutting, up-potting, topdressing, etc) I use a spoonful of the Uprising Foundation/Grow or a bit of Foundation/Bloom. This is only my second run with it and I've just about got it dialed in perfect so it takes me to the end of the grow without any noticeable deficiencies. Really easy, fairly inexpensive and the taste and flavor profile improved so much so that the fam asked me if I'd gotten a different cut of the same strain I'd previously grown out for 4 runs. (Bodhi Seeds SSDD)

I've used Advanced Sensi Ph perfect, Voodoo, B-52, Big Bud, OverDrive, and the stuff's OK. It works, but so do countless others. I'm finishing a bottle of Sensizym and that's it. Sticking with the water only and spending my cash on genetics/environmental improvements.

Never dealt with the dry stuff. My main lineup is the grow, bloom,Catylist and meta k with micro blast thrown in sometimes. Never hurts to have some cal mag on standby as well. That coveres everything I do from seed to harvest. This can be used in all hand watering mediums and maybe some self watering systems. I've tried all the big names in the past and always came back to EJ. It's cheap, no flushing and no burning.

what about the advanced nutrients products?
AN products are watered down and split into way too many parts to be considered as anything but a money making machine for the owner.

You can do FAR better for FAR less!

Off the top of my head.

Dyna gro foliage pro - one single bottle with everything in it you need to have success. Great place to begin.

Botanicare KIND line.

Age Old - Organic grow and bloom...Use at half strength.....

Hesi - Grow - Bloom and PK booster. Use a kelp extract with this one.

Jack's Classic and JR peters powders - read around and see how many of the old school best growers. Still use these powdered nutrients......You have to adjust how much you use for cannabis needs.

BTW = "flushing",,,IS a MYTH!

I've used canna for a while with good results, but they are a bit pricey. Then once i started using the dynagro lineup it hasn't let me down yet. Not to mention the price is right on time.

Maybe I'm just getting old or flowers are affecting me differently nowadays. I can taste the difference between buds grown with synthetics vs natural.

I like Heavy 16 full line, has done me well. But im honestly thinking of taking one girl and running her w el cheapo grande type and very minimalist on nutes whole way and see whatt the real diff is.

Honestly its like ford vs chevy vs dodge.... guys argue endlessly which is better, but in reality they all get the job done. If its a nute of any amount of decent reputation on up youll be fine....

Its more about learning how to use the bottle you have than the exact chemical make up of its content...
