may i suggest that instead off letting that loop float about you could take some time to make one to fit the inside of the box all the way round then come back down the center. your clones will root but you should notice the ones in direct contact with the bubbles will root faster and stronger.

also you could do with using a pin instead of that thing. its making the holes in your air tube to big, roots need small bubbles. you tell when you have made the holes to big because it sounds loud like yours and water will be blowing about instead of bubbles.

one last thing be careful that the sticky stuff from under the foam the glue, doesnt affect the clones over time.

i am not having a go as its working for you, i just thought id make some suggestions as to how it can run at its best, spesh if your teaching noobs!

yes its callee dwc rafting they do it to lettice they make a dwc bucket with no lid, instead they place foam with holes cut and clones or plants in and let them float atop the water.....

dont just look at weed growing dwc is far from new!!&
