The 8'x8' Perpetual Dream........

So everybody got the 8'x8' up, but just that, it is up, but no where near functional. So this is the start of a Perpetual Dream, from beginning till.........




Well thats pretty much all I got right now. Next thing I am working on is the lights, after seeing all these Crazy Cob people on here, I decided to join them and Cob out the 8'x8'. Right now I am trying to determine how many I need to OverDrive this Baby! Anyhow join along if you like and any tips or helpful hints or questions are welcomed as well as criticism if needed. Lol. Man I am just drooling at the capability of this thing!

Anyone got any suggestions on what strains I should run? I was wanting to go with something with decent yield and nice kick, I know that doesn't narrow it down but I was thinking of some Cheese or some Big BudxWidow, something like that anyway.


So my question to y'all is, if you had my space what would y'all run and maybe a little reason why

I would stay away from the big bud crosses and anything else high yielding. Extra yield comes at the cost of quality usually. Your better off with an oz less of better bud in the long run.
I would run 2 or 3 strains from bodhi. Try sunshine daydream, dank Sinatra or ter II
You plan to use that tent for veg and flower?

Try critical kush barneys farm has both yield and potency

Torontoke, the tent is a strictly Flower tent, and I agree with ya I would rather have better quality. I'll take a look at the Bodhi strains.

And Sour I actually have some Critical Kush from Barney's Vegging in my 5x5 right now so I will be picking a mother and using her for some clones.

Well guys the ladies got to big (shocker,lol) so I stuck them in the 8x8.

I also realize I'm gonna need more light so I ordered 16x CXB3590 3500k 72v and 16x Vero29 v2 4000k. I figure that was an okay way to start, no?

I also made a couple Scrog nets tonight for the following round after these lanky guys are gone of course, I wish we could have as many as we wanted to grow,lol. What do y'all think?

Man the ladies put on quite a stretch but they have slowed now and are looking nice.


I can't wait for my CXB3590's get here! I hope they double the size of my flowers,lol. I have 32 of them coming from Jerry over at KB, talk about a great guy! Anyhow I'm still deciding wether to run them at 50 or 75watts, either way I'm sure they will be great lights. Next cycle I will add another 32 CXB3590's and I'm hoping that 64 of them will make this 8x8 rock out.

Finally got the COBs in, now time to build me a monster,lol.

Thanks fandango for the compliment. I am super stoked cause these are my first flowers in 15yrs! These nugs are so dense already and just starting to frost up real nice, they still have about 2-3 weeks left too! I can't wait for the next couple weeks to roll around so I can sample some. Mmmmmm I can't wait to see what this Cheese by Canuk seeds has to offer. I have never heard of Canuk seeds before but they came as some freebies from True North Seed bank with another order so I figured I'd try them. The flowers look awesome so far so fingers crossed!

Well one more week till cut time! I can't wait, it's so hard waiting the last week or two but I am forcing myself to. Lol. Anyhow here's a few pics of the flowers now,
