That's the way to do it! You have a great setup.

I scared ("educated") some growers a couple weeks ago when I posted one of my old rental agreement specifically documenting the open access landlords have to their property. Last thing a grower needs is an unexpected visit. But you my friend have that covered.

When I moved from behind the Zion curtain (Utah and all states surrounding utah) . I was paticular in home selection. I was sooooo tired of the constant threat of prison. So I did it right!! Now I can grow as well as enjoy the meds. It is a compleatly diffrent, over-all adjustment. So relaxed here. I go to a nursery and ask for certain products. The owner will ask "Are you growing dope?" and "you", with no effort can reply, yep!!. And he will point you to everything he stocks just for that purpose. "How nice is" to go to ace home store and find hydro fittings, black lined ducting made by Ideal, etc they stock all the common needs to build a room. I love not having to operate, and feel like a criminal, just to get some relief. Thanks for your kind words friends, I'll keep people tuned in, hope some of the things I've picked up over the years, goes along way to help new growers and experience as well, put it all together, become prosperouse. and get to a place with out the constriction of modern law.

Ok, so today I re-modeled the mother/clone, veg room. This seemed to utilize this 32 x 10 foot area better. I can now fit 90 on the table in 1Quart pots, 66 plants on the floor under 2000 watts of hps, 4 domes with 90 clones per dome on the bakers rack at far end. Here's some veiws of these changes.

nr7.jpgnr8.jpgnr9.jpgnr10.jpgnr12.jpg

Also, today I started on the other side of my floating wall. This area is 18 x 32. It will eventually be equiped with 4 of the xxxl Yield master hoods. For now I will use 2 1000 watt yield master 2 hoods,on a light mover. I am just going to use the trolley part, as it will encorporate onto my existing garage geni track. Keep in mind, all this can be removed and packed away in an hour or two. All hardware is pre-existing in my garage. Also, today, in keeping with the spirit of the $425.00 grow room, I begged a couple of lengths of straight 6 in vent pipeing, what a score. Got it from a remodled restraunt worksite. Was told I could have anything I want from the dumpster. Ya thats me dumpster-diven Melungeonman. Also I found an old squirill cage that blew around hot air from a wood stove. They said it was no good, so I took it home and cleaned it up with electrical cleaner, works like new now! Another Awsome score,I'll be heading back there tomorrow to see what other usefull goodies I can salvage. Well, this is what I got acomplished today. More updates and photos tomorrow. Also The bakers rack for my clone domes was salvaged It had no clips to hold the shelfs up. I ordered them online for $6.00 for now I have 2 inch hose clamps holding the shelfs up on the uprights.

hey bud, insulate that garage door with cut pieces of styrofoam 1" board and glue. dunno your climate, but in summer that sucker will pass heat like a frying pan, also noise/humm will be deadened.

Yes we thought of that. The front of the house is the shaded side, it also has a deck off of our upper level that shades the front of the house. The garage door is a high end door it has insulated pannels. I have no sound emitting from the door or window. the garage is heated as well as, air conditioned. This is a high end house. I built this room to be non- intrusive so, No glue, screws, nails. nothing perment was added. No holes or scufffs in the walls. Only pre-existing hardware was utilized to hang equipment. Also I Am legal, a card holder. And I rented this high end house with the landlords approval. When I moved here, I was looking for a moderate climate I'm 3/10 of a mile from my beach access. I get cool ocean breaze all day all night. I also advertized on craigslist, that I was looking for a patient with a high end beach rental. I will be trading meds for part of my rent. So as a wrap up, we got it covered, keep the Ideas coming though, As I know that I will have issues that I haven't thought of.

is that some sweet basil i see in the second pic? i just started a couple of them myself. also growing bell pepper, tomato, green bean, Cosmo's, Morning glories and a lone holly hock. anxious to see how everything turns out with the veggies and flowers. i also have some cacti seeds i would like to get germinated but having a difficult time with them. the Mj plants look great too man obviously, but it is nice to see growers that grow other stuff besides MJ after all this hobby is not limited to one plant. and i feel growing out other plants in the room gives the grower that much more knowledge about the way things work.

This Type of set up is built to be removed quick, the walls are removable by dislodging the wedges. They can be carried off in 4 foot sections. The Idea "originated" from my need to move, and hide it, when I grew in a less than legal state. I can, In fact open the garage door and back a uhaul in, then in the privacy of my garage, load the pannels lights and plants. Then compleatly remove the grow from the property. "Or not". I've just set the trailer aside, and told the landlord. 'I was in the process of moving exess stuff to my storage unit.' This is so easy, just put a couple florecent battery operated camping lights in there.Good to go!
dude thats a awesome idea, 30 min and you have your grow remote if any shit hits the fan thumbs up on that one.

here and subbed ill follow along. have a shit load of other threads i follow so dont be surprised if i dont say much. but ill be lurking :)

Yes there is a thread in the med posts under oregon. Look for bomb and melungeon magic strains. the history of these family strains as well as genetics all can be found there. Ever taste weed that tastes like Grape coolaid from first hit to last ashy hit? This melungeon magic does this, the grape after taste hangs around on your pallet for awille after your done smoking! Cool shit! The only thing it doesn't do is turn your tongue purple. P.S. lots of pics in my album, the avatar is melungeon magic also.

Yes it is Basil, its my odor eliminator! I grow spicy globe, lemon, and lime basils. I plant them in a big planter under my dryer vent outside. The dryer vent in my garage grow rooms, vents my rooms as well as the dryer. Warm air rustling the basil. makes the whole side yard smell like an italian kitchen. And because I have created sealed rooms. No odor issues. No fancy more money than brains $100.00 carbon filters ona buckets etc. Just basil . Also as an added bonus, mix the tree basils together for pesto. Make scampi with white wine butter garlic and prawns . Toss in cooked fresh pasta (angel hair or linguini), drop in a heaping spoon of basil and toss. Finish by deglasing the pan with one more spash of white wine, and searve with garlic bread yum. Can your ona bucket and carbon filter do that?

well i dont have a ona bucket lol but i do have a carbon filter and it seems to work well. like i said i have some sweet basil up and coming but it, like any other plant takes time to grow :)

im not sure which tomato's im growing. wish i could get into selling some of my veggies....maybe ill look into it through some of the resturaunts and stuff if i can get them to a point where harvests will be enough to be able to supply the demand. fresh organic produce is always in demand though. im thinking about hitting up the local farmers market this spring to sell to. i may even get out of growing the good ole herb and do 100% indoor organic veggies. ultimatly i would like to buy a home sometime soon and put up a large scale greenhouse with full suplimental lighting and be able to sell produce in the winter and add flowers and trees and shrubs in the spring-fall (no one buys outdoor flowers in the winter here because the ground is frozen and they cant plant them)

can always grow indoor stuff too like bamboo and orchids.

I just moved from behind the Zion curtain last thanksgving, boy do I understand frozen cold ground, I lived on the western rage of the tetons, right below them in fact. out my back door.

4225364436_7319511087_z.jpg Had a coffee bush inside, got really big had to give it away to a friend, before I moved It was about 10x 6 foot
I didn't know anything about dry roasting or preparing the beans so I did nothing with them. Wish I had one now I would plant it.

If you're thinking about doing something like this use corolite instead of styrofoam because corolite is much the same as styrofoam but non-flamable

temps.jpgOk, so back to the grow room build.
This morning I added the window board I ported a 6in hole in the plywood put my adjustable elbow, and one of the 4 foot lengths of pipe I salvaged yesterday, I applied a Anti fungus spray to the window screen and outside facing part of the board. I also sprayed the entire area down the side of the house, we have cedar chips out there so fungus doesn't thrive there anyway. I also applied a mold mildew reucing carbon vent pad to the port opening. None of this can be seen through the window. The reason for this is the sheer curtain applied to the ouside facing part of the board. By the way the ceder landscaping chips smells wonderfull in the grow as it comes in with the fresh air, and like I mentioned before old stale air going out is transformed into an Italian kitchen smell.
Next I will trim the curtain part on the inside of the room and paint the inside portion of the board flat white like the rest of the garage.

Here is what I started with, and this is what it looks like inside and out.nr13.jpg
nr14.jpgnr15.jpggrow room 9.jpg

Also, I failed to mention, I left the curtain to be trimed later so I could adjust it through the port hole, this allowed me to adjust the curtain to appear to flutter in the breaze from the outside. When I get right up to the window on the garage door and side window, cup my hands and try to look in, I can not tell these windows are covered with a aboard. It also blacks out the room.
To hold the window in place and close the light leaks, I cut the plywood 1/8th inch smaller than the reveal in the window molding, and used 1/4 in. weather stripping. This makes the board very tight it doesn't budge.
Because I left the window up 3 inches I locked the tabs. These are high end up sliding vinal windows,if you don't have these type, might I suggest a dowel or locking track blocks to secure them in place, grow room10.jpg and keep intruders from just coming in. I've a alarm sensor on the track and had to re-adajust the corrisponding sensor. on the frame.
Next up, I will finish panneling and porting the floating wall, Oh by the way this morning for kicks I took this wall down on a timer. Took 1 person with limited phisical capabilities 1 hr 45 min to disasemble, " and re build " this garage grow!!!! hows that for easy- peesy. System seamless, and seems to be running very well. temps are great. On the note about insulating the door. I think I mentioned these door pannels came insulated. but if you have easy bake oven door pannels, a better idea than gluing them into place is, to get tyvec outside insulation. Cut the pannels to fit each section of the door. This stuff will fit into the sections own frameing without glue.

If cut well will hold itself in place. The idea here is to "NOT" use glues, screw or anything that would otherwise damage a nice rental. This damage is why landlords, even in safe states, don't want us growing in their rentals. Water, fire , and the "I don"t care because it's a rental," attitudes. To change the minds of the misinformed, we must change the growing culture, I.E. safe practices. And caring about the properties we do it in (rental). nr9.jpg

yeah it does suck because there is so many people out there that just trash rentals so landlords are reluctant to allow tenants anything. were lucky were allowed a dog.

Nice grow but it's a rental?

Check your rental lease. Landlords can come in anytime without your permission. I would take the extra steps to add more deadbolts and the open window is just begging to be accessed. Be careful when it's not your property.
in california its a violation of tenant rights for a landlord to enter premises without written 24 hr notice to enter posted on a main thouroughfare I.E.front door

if my landlord entered my house without permission he would have a real problem on his hands
