Oh, okay. Hey do you have any suggestions as to what type of hydro system I should run? I mean, I was going to go for a drip system because it's so easy to make and easy to control with just one reservoir (not to mention it wouldn't be like having 16 DWC buckets all pumping water and air amongst themselves), but if you know of anything that would be better, let me know!

Is there a reason that you need separate buckets? I'm just wondering because unless you are growing from seed and don't know the sex there is no reason for the roots to not grow together, it would be a lot easier to manage not to mention cheaper to just have a few buckets or grow containers. Just a thought.

I've seen a 5'x4' 1000w HPS system using only 6 plants...but he was using soil, and I want to go hydro...

What would you suggest I do to have a hydroponic ScrOG that allows me to use an external reservoir to control the water?

Built a DWC (Deep Water Culture) cloner today, spent 17 dollars (including tax) on parts and I used an old Conair hair clipper container for the res. I wasnt sure if the Neoprene collars were going to work so I only got 3 at the time, also that's all I really needed at the moment, I will be adding the other three later this week.

Parts and price:
MillionAir air pump MA100 - $9.95

Sunleaves 6" Air Stone - $1.75

Neoprene Collars 1.5" - $.90 each (you can get these for much cheaper)

.25" tubing 10' - $2.50

Conair Container - Free
Total - $16.90

You're going to need a lot more space than that for the roots, my friend...

Wow, now that we have our Southpark references out of the way! Haha, why not buy a container at wally world for $2 instead of using that Conair container??? Haha that thing is Ghetto! But, it will do the job! Its officially been a whole day since I built my cloner and filled it with clones! 4 more day until roots! (or less I hope)

Wow looking great over there bro. Its making me think about going scog next go around. I bet you'll pull atleast a P off of that. Or atleast I hope you do. I would want to just utilize one plant in that screen. I understand you would have to veg for longer but longer veg time reverts in BIGGER BUDS hahaha.

Thanks breakneck, I'll try to post some new pics up tomorrow.

Little late posting these up but they are doing great. I had a spidermite infestation that I wasn't aware of until SMG had mentioned he had one and considering we share plants it's pretty much a give that if one of us gets them, the other will too. They seem to be gone now but I will continue treating until harvest. I'm pretty sure they are going to effect my yield especially on one or two of the 5 plants, but the lesson I've learned is plenty valuable so I'm not going to complain.

SMG gave me his seeds that he got from a mutual friend, they are suppose to be a hybrid with a very strong smell and covered with hairs. I have germinated all three of them and two of them are now in the cloner to help the plants mature faster. More pics at the bottom of this post.

Doesn't look like too much mite damage! And the seedlings and clones are looking good! I'll be up there soon enough to check it out in person.

70/30 Water to 91% Alcohol cleared mine up, but I wouldnt suggest it during budding. Maybe try water with a small amount of Dr. Bronner's liquid soap.

plants look delish man! looking forward to getting those clones as well, im reading when you are. I just set up a couple T12s and it's awfully lonely in there...

Awesome dude, when did you get the t12's? and your clone is ready when you want to come get it. As for the the mites, they are gone. I fucked their world up. I've been spraying the clones as well even though they show no signs but better safe than sorry.

What do you think about those seedlings? I have never seen them progress this quickly. Basically 3 days from seed to seedling with leaves.

got my T12s today. the set up is temporary, just for starting seedlings and shit. I will have a 600 within the next few weeks, and when temps outside drop I will reconfigure and flower that monster.

be careful thinking the mites are gone, I just spotted a couple after that last post. I may try some Neem oil this time around... we'll see.

those seedlings def have that hybrid vigor!
