Sweet dude. Looking very good but expect nothing less. So, I noticed there are random small holes in what looks like to be very healthy leaves. I have the same thing on my ladies. Any thoughts on this or reason to be concerned?

Thanks bro!

Thanks bro,

I'm not sure what you are talking about, I would have to see them. Any holes that my plants have were caused by me trying to weave them or move them. See if you can get a close up pic of it and let me know.

Received my Hortilux Super today! Put it in and can already tell that it is a good bit brighter than my last bulb. Look forward to seeing how this effects my yield.

Easily seen in this photo. I figured it was from the weaving. :D

My plants are six weeks (from seed). I started LST about a week and a half ago, which caused an awesome explosion of growth! I've pondered SCROG many times the past six months, but hadn't seen instructions that included photos. Seeing your threads (this and the "pics 6 weeks flower update" one) revived my interest in this. You indeed deserve some rep! :hump:

I'm a CA MMJ patient, and need to maximize my six mature plant limit. I was going to get another (and better) set of lights to have separate veg & flower areas last month, but my bank robbed me! (Quite corrupt, yet somehow legal, use of loopholes is the long and short of it.) So now I'm stuck with growing all six at once instead of the perpetual cycle I'd planned, for the next couple of months at least. I'm thrilled with the results from the LST so soon, and adding in SCROG should work wonders for increasing my yield without having to veg quite as long.... I'm also stuck with the most horrid brick one could imagine till I've got a harvest, and I'm tired of literally gagging from it, much less not getting nearly enough pain relief!

I got to the point the other day of contemplating flipping to 12/12 now, so that I can have something instead of waiting so long and continuing with the brick. But the thought of a puny harvest after all the work and planning I've done still held me back. I read and reread countless SCROG posts/threads last night. Most said to start with the screen right after flipping to 12/12, whereas some said to start while vegging like you did. I know that starting during veg would increase yield that much more, but I just can't keep treating my pain with brick. So I'm really thinking now about getting some chicken wire and wood or PVC (whatever is cheapest and easiest to work with for framing) and flipping the lights, working with the branches the LST encouraged to grow.

If I do this, then my two one-week-old seedlings would have to go 12/12 as well, as I don't have separate areas for veg & bloom yet. (I've really gotta call the bank and thank them again!) But the four six-week-old ones are 4.5"-5" tall (completely tied over), and they range from eight branches (the slowest growing one, which didn't have any secondary growth at all till I tied it down) to eighteen that I could count (there are more, I just gave up LOL).

Would you agree that doing SCROG will increase what little yield I'd have as they are now? I can't imagine why it wouldn't.

Just as an aside, when I do start SCROG (be it this grow or a future one), I'll be making six separate screens/frames, so that I'll be able to add a new plant as soon as one is harvested; I'm still aiming for perpetual ASAP! :hump: I've got 2'x4' for six plants, so there won't be a room issue doing it this way. ;)

OH, and I do still have my AeroGarden with which I started growing MJ in February, and I've got cuttings (the tops) from each of my four vegging plants in there now. So I guess I do have a "separate" grow area.... to an extent.

It's all personal preference. I wish I could give you more advice. Flower when you are ready, :weed:

I'm going to flower these longer than I expected. Most sites say 7 -8 weeks I think I will probably go about 9, seeing as how I am right around 7 now and the buds are just now really starting to put on weight. I've actually seen people flower these for 12-13 weeks so I will just keep an eye on those trichs and push them as far as I can.

I also through in a pic of some seedlings from clones. I think I am going to build a dwc cloner today if I have time. If I do I'll be sure to post some pics up.

That is one full screen of buds!! Looking good dood. How many tops you got? You try counting them yet? 1-2g per cola would be pretty sweet deal outta that!

looks like around 200, it's hard to count them all though haha
That is a wonderful feeling!!! You have 2'X2' screen right? 576 sq. in. if you do...200 tops would put you at having a cola in roughly 2 sq. in. of space. 1-2 grams per cola would do you just nice!!! 1+ gram per watt potential going on here. Dunno why im calculating, but i just felt inclined to do some math.

Hopefully that bulb helps you break the 10oz mark! I hope bouderheads calculations are correct because that would be amazing! I really cant wait to see them next week, cause they are looking great. How did your build go today???

Thanks Homer.
It is somewhat built, still needs some work. I am actually using it right now but the clones are just floating on top, I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I'm just DYING for the next picture...so you can bet your sweet cheeba I'll be sticking around! I plan on growing 25 plants in 25 5-gallon buckets under a 5'x5' screen with a recirculating hydroponic drip system, 1000w Hortilux HPS in a SunLeaves Aurora 6 Reflector, http://www.nirvana-shop.com/feminized-cannabis-seeds/wonder-woman.html seeds, and Dutch Master ONE hydro nutes (Grow=2.0-0.3-3.0 and Flower=1.8-0.5-3.1).

Wish me luck! lol
Hell yeah bro, I want to see that shit! I'm actually in the process of switching over to deep water culture. Let me know when you start that.

I liked DWC when I was first getting into hydro systems, but since I'm going to have multiple buckets (I've decided to go with 16 plants in a 4'x4' square instead of 25 in a 5'x5') it would just be way too complicated to run 16 DWC buckets at once...at least for me. Now if anyone has any ideas on how to do this, feel free to chime in!

Anyway, I'm going to be going with a drip system, so I can control my water's pH, PPM, etc. with 1 reservoir that pumps water to all the plants, then all I need to do is have it all drain back to the reservoir so the cycle can start again!

Check this grow out when you get a chance. It's aero but it has a lot in common with what you will be doing. Let me know what you think.

Wow, I haven't been in that thread since my first days on RollItUp! lol

He uses an Aero/NFT system, though...I'm doing a drip system.
