Could be something different in there, If I was to take a guess at it, it would be chitosan or jasmonates.

There's nothing crazy bitter or salty in the mix. I tasted it myself :).

Yeah you gotta use alot. Its watered down. The amount you use is scary until you see how low the ppm rises. Not much at all. If they could make this shit more concentrated would be nice. Iam starting to hone in on the plants that like it and give it to them only. Not all repsond to it.

I run it as soon as I switch to 12/12 I not sure why they would want you to run it during Veg but I have sap dripping form my plants but I also added calcium syrup so it might be a combination of the two

I had that "sap" dripping from some blue petrol that i gave terpinator to. 25 ml a gallon at peak flower. Started @ 10 ml. At the flip and ramped it up. Lower yielder but wow....fuelly stank. Reeks like a strong diesel fuel on a hot summer day. Strong stanky odor.
