super cropping during flowering?

Super cropping any time in flowering will make your plants produce more resin/active ingredients and more buds as well as guiding more auxins to other branches and forcing them to grow bigger. That's how your plants respond to the stress that is caused by super cropping. Remember that super cropping a branch or the main stem doesn't slow down growth at all! Because the wounded area continues to transfer water and nutrients even faster than before! But if you really want to benefit from the advantages of super cropping, start early in veg, do it one at a time and continue until mid flowering, then stop! It will increase strength, light penetration, nutrient uptake, potency and yield. :weed:

Ive been wanting tO sign up for ages ti have a rant and hear i am!
Background growing for 5 or so years im 22 years of age and like too grow and big and as best as i can ie big fat stinking crystally dry nuggetty buds! I tried suppercropping after recommendation from family and i grew 4x 5.5 oz plants
At first i was only capable of 1.5-2 oz per plant roughly 10 plants 1 light 600 w
Anyways ive carried on using super crop
And i usually get silver duct tape and wrap it around the desired snap erea using a 2-3 fingers bend the plant untill you feel a slight tear in plants skin then stop. leave the tape on for at least a week of forver dosnt matter
Anyways ive always used this method from flower 12/12 phase and for 28 days after flower anything before and after i dont touch only cut all lower leafs and stems off
As i said now i use 2 x 600w lights with this method and hit between 4oz - 6.5oz per plant only down fall is that flowering phase may take a little longer but i dont care also i dint vegg for 3 weeks i done 6 weeks vegging after buying clone

I have supercropped for a while now, both in veg and flower, no problems.
I did a bit of SC a week ago prior to switch and today, 1 week into 12/12 I did all but one plant, have 5 plants, growing vertical. You can check my sig on my latest grow.
Here are two of the G13 Haze prior to supercropping, height is around 56"

This is the G13 on the left after supercropping. now at around 48"
20170611_090433 (2).jpg
Here is the only Critical Kush I have this grow, was around 53", now it is 42"
20170611_090502 (2).jpg Wanted to show the number of bud sites on this plant, amazing.
Close up of the cropping, main stems and two branches down all got cropped. I will look at them later this week and maybe do some of the lower branches, along with my weekly leaf removal.

Here a one of the G13 I SC'ed 6 days ago on the main stem and 2 weeks ago on the branch.

As I stated, I do minor defo during veg and just before flower I go after them fairly hard, they recover in days. During flower I had been removing some fan prior to day 21 then do a major defo. This grow I plan on doing a weekly minor defo plus also remove fans when I see them blocking bud sites up until week 6. Once they begin to stand back up toward the light I will raise them and bind them to the screen like the pic of the G13 above, which opens the facing canopy to all the light.
Here is the Harem on the ninth, about to have some work done on them.20170609_081050 (2).jpg
The G13 Haze on the left is an indica dom while the other three G13's are sativa dom as is the Critical Kush.

What if when you make your bend to super crop, you tape it vertically instead of horizontally? I would think its kinda defeating the purpose but will it work with any significance?

Yes I do see this is an old thread but I did this by accident the bend on accident etc..

I have about 50 bud sites on 4 girls in a 5x5 at week 4-5. I have LST'd and super cropped (even having a go at monster cropping the past 2 weeks) . The super cropping obviously has obviously led to insane growth but today I noticed the absolute largest buds had come from super crop large knuckles from early flower. So I decided to do a test and super crop 3 smaller ones to see if these will fatten up.

I use a finger nail to crease and then bend which leads to much less stress/breakage on the stem than finger rolling and bending for me anyway. Also the "super cropping twisting technique" (cant remember the name of that) to break the cambium but not the outside skin seems good but I am testing that in my veg tent.

I don't want any real broken stems this late. My goal is to do the lowest stress super crop to avoid longer flowering times yet still be effective.

What do you expect crop yield? And how many plants did you say you have? And how long did your vegetate them?

I myself have been gone for over 6 months and decided to get back in since I have more money and Equipment coming in going to start some new crops don't know if I'm going to use photos or Autos or a mixture of both. Also I got to get some trellises scrog growing but I have a 5x5 tent 8 in tall 80 in tall and one 1000 watt LED light bestva that tha I have heard good things about and I've I'v got a 6-inch fan Odor Control System ducting and carbon filter system. I still have to get other supplies and seeds for the main thing. do you think I should get to 1000 watt lights or else 1 mm what light or just use the 1000 watt like cuz it's supposed to be big enough for the whole 5x5 area

I am only seven days into flowering my two tops have stretched way too high if I super crop them and bend them to the height of the rest of the plant will the tops and sugar leaves start to point up again if the bend is 45 degrees. The sugar leaves are bottom side up. Befor I do my other 3 girls

Yes they will but do it severely and tie them because in another week you won’t be able to very easily. They become extremely resistant. Do whatever you want or can this time.

What are you calling Monster Cropping? I believe you have your terms confused.
Monster Cropping is removing a buds that is in flower and revegging it and the reflowering.

Most folks let them flower up too 14 days prior to taking cutting.
I took mine a day 32 of flower.
Clone taken on 12/26, Took 8 clones,
20171226_101718 (2).jpg

Now 27 days later, this is the only one to make it.

And 15 days later
20180205_090442 (2).jpg

3 plus months later, had to wait for the plants in the tent to finish before I would move them into the tent on 4/1

Start of flower 4/29

No you just misread my post. I said I had super cropped and monster cropped but my post was about super cropping techniques (creasing and twisting).

@TreeWalker
This is what I was referring too.

"(even having a go at monster cropping the past 2 weeks)"

So unless you removed a flowering buds, revegged and then reflowered, then your terminology is off, I am just saying.
