You got a link to one of these? I wanna see what sorta oscilloscope you can get for that price, at that price you can barely get a good multimeter.
Imo any old multi meter will do anymore. Fluke is great name but imo the $9-$15 Wal-Mart special works just as well and if I need to get precise then I'm going to use a scope.

They are great for small stuff but they aren't as fast as a traditional multi channel benchtop. If you're working with frequencies under ~60kHz (I know they say 200kHz, but you'll have test it yourself, square wave resolution drops below anything meaningful well before 200kHz) then they will give a lil more insight, but single channel scope only go so far. You really want at least a dual channel so you can compare your control loop to your actual output, along with countless other uses, but as far as single channel sense stuff they work great imo and for $20 I don't think you can go wrong.
