I disagree. Sorry.
and when somthings broke I throw it away.

I actually love salvaging things. I find that another mans trash is usually my treasure. There is nothing like making something functional from scraps. Most of my grow rooms are from salvaged parts.

Must be nice to always have the coin to buy new stuff...

What bout when there wuz a storm and the power or cable gets cut out?

Throw out your tv?
rip out your hydro box?

Anyhow.......

Worrying about the Feds and something to do with RUI is funny,
have you ever looked at the address to send subcription money to?
If RUI wuz selling seeds or pot i might worry,
but they ain't,
and Canadian laws don't allow the stuff you talkin about to happen without cause!
Darn eh, the man in black only has So Much say in dif contries, and Canada ain't there!

I got no problem with having technical difficulties, upgrading software or hosting/server issues. But if the site operators and moderators know this, why not a little courtesy when you log in or start a sticky thread saying so? That way everyone knows and there would be no threads like this.

I love it how some people on here think this site is 100% bulletproof from the Feds or local law enforcement. The hosting company is located in the USA, a simple warrant to monitor site traffic and log IP addresses is all they need. That's the thing with the internet, people think they are anonymous when they really aren't. Your IP address can tell even the simplest "hacker" more info than you may care to reveal.

I'm honestly not trying to scare anyone, I'm just stating the facts. Look at what happened to Overgrow. It could happen is all I'm saying. I personally, after last Thursday will not be using RIU on a regular basis. I was locked out of my account saying that someone from RIU's IP address was trying to login to my account. Every time I reset my password and waited 15 minutes to reset, same thing. That and the fact that RIU doesnt offer an option to close your account and delete your images/gallery. Seems suspect to me. I'll spend my time over at the farm.
