getting ready to do a hole new show again

Hi epixbud, I saw your post on the DIY cloner, veg, and flower boxes and wondered if there is any reason you couldn't, and I already know it's a waste of space, take a cutting and put it in an aeroponic tub sized for a full size plant and by adjusting parameters clone it, veg it, and flower it without moving it? I am starting an aeroponic grow with a bilge fan mist driver, and wondered if I could just set up 6 cuttings in my flower box and then clone, veg, and flower while I build the other two boxes. What would I have to do for light and root misting for cloning (I have only done it once a long time ago) that would be different from veg stage? How do you keep the rooting gel from being washed off by the mist? I saw the post from the other guy, but my system has a 3D trellis under the lid to support the plant so it is easier to start in the final lid. I would be getting bare root clones, and thought I could just use cuttings. What do you think?

can u show more pics of ur im assuming this is your flower system , it looks like the right system for me but i cant figure out how u made it is it a drip system? how does it get water i would appreciate it if u posted more about it esspecialy how u made the top, not the lids but table like thing im not sure what to call it lol is that made from wood?

yeah bro it was for the pics on the flower everything below the lid was gone and the pics for the veg in action were gone about the sprayers thats what i thought heard that before stay away from organic lol much appreciated keep up the good work

Hi epix i just looked aat ur 3 in one clon/veg/flo system looks good but no pics of the flo system if u could show us it be great plus of what kind of sprayers u use because ive heard of them getting clogged have u had trouble with that??? thx for your time fellow grower

hey man i just saw your thread for the DIY aerocloner/veg/flower systems. I was wondering if after the clones are put in place, can you let the plants grow all the way through untill flower stage? or do you have to transplant them. It may be a dumb quesiton but i plan on making my own system usuing your thread and i dont want to mess up any. thankyou.

it's almost a garentee your PH is the problem, fix the PH and keep it adjusted daily, and in a few days the colour will start to come back, and a few more and the roots will finally start...

PH is everything in these systems......

as for the rooting horomone, i personally prefer KLN,
But,
i have noticed that liquid horomone is better to use for Aero systems,
Gels and Powders wash off and mix with the water to create a feed mix with too much PPM of the Wrong kind for what your trying to do...
Liquide horomone is soaked into the stem and used, not returned to the Rez...

There for..... I think Any Brand Liqude Rooting Horomone should work.....
I've only tryed KLN Liquid so can't speak of any others, just use a Way weak mix and don't let the clones soak in it to long, an hour or so is good..

What kind of rooting hormone do you prefer? I used clonex gel, which is more then likely a silly idea considering our set-up. Well I hope I have said enough to thoroughly incriminate myself, and thereby solicit, your wisdom. In theory obviously If you so desire I can send you a pic of my problem, but I'm not familiar with RIU's policies on that or if there even are any. Thank you so much for your time.

Hey Epix, I have another question for you. I (perhaps foolishly) put 2 strains into my aero-cloner which is courtesy of your DIY. The leaves have gone, yellow-transparent mainly (& predominantly) on just one strain, but partially in the other too, but to a much less extent, It has been about 5 days, and there is very little evidence of roots beginning, and I know my pH is high, I am getting some pH down tomorrow. I think I may have to take a few misters off to restore some H2O pressure as there is not much (396GPH, wtf?), but I figured since I saw H2O dripping from the inside top of the lid, they were ok. The first signs of it came on rather quickly, I woke up the next AM after taking the cuts, only to find some hurting babies, This makes me suspicious of the H2O pressure. Is it crucial that the stems are in good contact with the spraying H2O? I still have them under the humid dome, and (4) T5's. The water is RO, and the entire cloner is itself sitting on a seedling mat.

Hey man, I was checkin out your DIY thread on the aerocloner/veg/flower systems... I'm sure that I can build each system but I'm curious if you use all three in stages or what? I really want to build a clone system and bubble bucket. My question is what do you do with the clones once roots start to come through the neoprene inserts? keep them on the stem like rock wool? or pull the neoprene out and slide the clone out of the slit then plant into coco/other medium? ANd are you transfering the clones to the veg box and then the flower box? it seems if you were to pull out the net pots through the top and put them into the next system that it would be easy to damage the roots growing out of the side of the net pots.... I hope Im making sense... I just really need to know the process of transferring from one setup to the next or if this is even possible. Thanks man!

Hey, how do you feel about the idea of using super starter plugs in those 2" net pots your growing from clone to flower?

Would that restrict the roots too much? only reason why I ask is because I figured it would be a good way to start a crop from seed.

Do you have any better ideas?

how do you do your pics? i want to post some but i am certain that they can be traced back to you and that scares the shit out of me. i feel that if i put pics up people could obviously understand a little better what the hell i am trying to get across, i just want it to be secure.

hanks man. can you tell me about the time schedules of you routine. 2 weeks in cloner straight to flower? how big are you plants when they go to flower? your set up is rocking and i wsh i would have read earlier, could have saved a lot of dough!!
