Looking good.

It does look like your meduim is very wet. I like to only wet the bottoms, make the fuggers work for the water down there! You don't want a lazy plant.. :)

becareful you don't over water those seedlings! Rockwool holds alot of water, and did you PH balance those cubes?

If you over water seedlings the leaves get heavy and don't reach for the light. Then the weight along with lack of co2 will cause the seedling to fall over and die.
The advice you have been given is good. Rock wool retains water very well.
You don't want the top of the cube wet but you want the bottom wet. You need to find the balance with your system.

Hey Bro - I like your setup. I followed you over from Stink's thread... like the guys are saying - rockwool really retains water - to the point that it need not be watered more than once a day. If you are actually running your pump in the aero cloner on a 5 off 1 on schedule - that would make the rockwool too moist. If those seedlings are not firmly rooted within those cubes, you are better off placing them in a standard rooting tray and watering from the bottom as suggested by another. It's all about the weight - hold a dry cube in your hand and get used to that weight - you want them almost dry before watering again. Those small cubes are saturated with approx 30 - 50 ml of water.

Keep up the good work!

Starting out good. We know you will keep it up. You want to put the light as close as possible without burning the plants. with CFL's you can get within a inch from the plants. Add a inch or two for seedlings. You don't want them to strech. Short and bushy:bigjoint:

um...... im guessing you built stink's aero cloner and veg units..... and if thats the case those seedlings should NOT be sitting in rockwool. I would REALLY suggest reading the entire thread best you can, I know its long but it will be worth it, trust me!

once they sprout they need to be pulled out and put directly into the cloner in 2" netpots and neoprene collars, NO MEDIUM. timer should be 1 minute on, 5 minutes off, all day...... with the rockwool you're soaking them. :(

I start mine in rapid rooters, much easier to crack open. once they sprout they're ready to move!
