The bottom of my stem or trunk is turning kinda brown. It feels squishy and I for sure know it is rotting. What can I use?! This is an 8 footer and I dont want to lose it!

Sounds like its damping-off. A sign your soil is way too wet. Ive heard of this happening to clones and seedlings before - but never to something so big. I couldnt say for sure that thats what your issue is without pics though.

Its kinda eating itself around the stalk. What about using h2o2? Hydrogen peroxide

From what I have read, pythium is fatal. I would post pictures first. Make sure that's actually what you are dealing with before taking any action.

H2O2 wont work. Its in trouble if the main stem base is rotten ,this cuts off its water and nute supply. Clear around the rot ,soil, foliage, weeds etc. Let morning sun shine on the base (if its outside) run a fan on the rot 24/7 if inside and pray it still lives.

Is there a snot looking goo around it too? Does it stink really badly? I lost a lot of crops from that, turned out to be cyanobacteria.

is it grey mold?
only thing I've seen take down a pot "trunk"
you can slow it down by using a natural spray that rose-growers use for their leaf mold, it's called clean-leaf, and it's citrus based which is safe for the plant, and kills mold spores.
if it's grey mold, be prepared to lose the plant if it gets too far past the bark/skin of the trunk

Sounds like damping off, most likely a type of botrytis. Unfortunately there's not much you can do. How far along is the plant?
