stealth led dresser grow

Working off a phone camera so its hard to get good detail.

From what i can see tho depending on the bud your looking at there anyway from 30-60% red hairs. The white hairs come mostly from the newer growth. Over the last two days a lot more of the fan leaves turned yellow. It was only one or two here or there before, but now half of them have turned yellow.

Also I went back to the breaders site and checked there flowering time. They state anywhere from 8-14 weeks which seems like a long time compared to most strains. So i might let them go another couple days.

looks good i would cut the ripe parts off and maybe let the rest get more ripen but then again 10 wks is a long ass time so its up to u most of the leaves are yellow and that can come from 2 things one being this long in flowering and from the flushing but i think it has to more with the end of its life cycle! chop her done !

Hey great grow! I'm new to this but I've been following your thread and am on a low budget so I've got some questions. :-o
Do you think it would be ok if I only use 1 ufo for 2 plants or the yelds wouldn't make the equipment's worth?
Are the cheaper amazon ufos much different from what u got?
Are they loud?
Also do I need a fan for heat since the ufos already have them?
What fan are you using?
I'm a newbie so any extra info is great! Sorry if any question is redundant and thanks in advance! :weed:

1 light would be ok for 2 plants ..maybe add some cfls is you are on a low budget...as far as the amazon lights go...im trying to fuigure out that myself....check out my grow journal in my sig.....so far i would have to say yes the amazon lights are good....one thing i did notice is some sellers onebay and amazon are advertising 135watt ufos that supposedly have (45) 3 watt diodes...i would not buy one of these as in my opinoin they are most likley 45 watt ufos with (45) 1 watt diodes that they buy for $50 and resell as 135watters for $150..or they will sell them as 90watt ufos with (45) 2 watt diodes for $130......if you are going to go with a low budget ufo from amazon or ebay i would suggest only going with 90watt models with 1 watt diodes wich should be from $100-$120 per ufo...they are not loud at all..depending on your grow area you will need a fan...im running a 4"180cfm inline fan with a 8x10 carbon filter..cost me about $120 total delivered...no heat ..no smell and lots of fresh air...im sure you could get away with some computer fans or desk fans and be ok as they really dont put too much heat out at all...as of right now i am very pleased with the results im getting and i am guessing Smooth is pretty pleased with his harvest too !!

I see. I asked about the ufo fans because I've been reading around that they're quite noisy..tho on a budget I'm looking to go stealthy, wich means no noise, no smell, no high electrical bills..
Yeah I've been following your grow too NugHunter ahaha!
Thank you, that was really helpfull and I'm looking forward to see you guys results! Cheers! :blsmoke:

I own a 90w UFO and I don't think it is noisy at all. I think if you're going stealth then LED + CFL is the way to go due to the low heat

geturgrowon: I didn't get a wet weight since Im going to do all the trimming after they dried. Ive been reading they will dry slower that way and will lead to better quality buds.

Nepenthex:
I would advise following what nughunter said. My ufo has 90 1 watt leds with a 80 degree lens on each I believe (give or take 10 degrees). Theres a lot you can read about on different leds online. Also my ufo is a 5-band light using the most efficient and worthwhile colors to plants, including infrared as one of them. Do your research and you'll end up getting something that works good. Also you can hear the fans from outside my dresser, this is why I decided to turn the lights on at night when less people are around.

My dresser has an output for heat but i ended up reversing it to get more airflow in there. The leds create hardly any heat but if your adding cfls your most likely going to need some sort of exhaust depending on the size of your space. Get the digital thermometer at walmart that records the high and low for the day, it also records the humidity all for less then $10.

Guest420: I guess I never did post updated pics of my dresser. Ill do that in a week when they are done drying.

And here they are a minute before I cut them down, you can never just take one pic.

Next time I will definitely do scrog, I think that will be even more efficient for the leds. Which brings out their only weakness deep canopy penetration. If I were growing these as just straight growing gals I don't think they would've done quite as well. Other then that though Im extremely happy to have bought these leds especially now that they have already paid for themselves. Or at least we'll find out when I weigh them.

Oo the scrog is already about a month into veg they're about 10" tall or more. Since they're not in the same spot I'm going to have a lot more room to work with, its going to be with a 400 watt hps over one and a 180 watt led over the other. The rooms a little oddly shaped so I'm hoping they don't over crowd it.

Keep checking back I should have numbers by mid to late next week

I don't have any pics or a thread for it yet but I might make one tonight. How do I add a link under each of my posts like you and so many others have?
