i just got 4 extension cords and mounted them to the top and pluged in 3 light socket adapters in to those and bam light fixture... it generated a lot of heat so i put 2 4.5" ecoplus axial fans 112cfm each on each side to cool the lights off

Dang, I was hoping to keep reading. Definitely subscribed. Looks good. I am building mine, but am either using 400w HPS if I can keep the heat down (already have the equipment), or doing t5, guy at my grow store says to do t5 over cfl any day. I have never grown with fluorescent bulbs. Your build makes me want to go use cfl. Keep up the good work!

Reasoning? I just thought CFL you could get more watt and lumen in a smaller area. It is also especially useful being that you can arrange them in almost any fashion.

hey man u will never stop hearing the same thing from peeps on here like "you gotta get it closer to the lights!"... sure u want it close but IMO, with an already tight enclosure like yours it does matter much at all. You did some nice work on that box bro well done. If u wanna take a look at my stealth mini fridge i got goin right now, the lights have been fixed in the same spot since day ONE..and she is about 35 days into flower now.
