ok as promised here's some pics... things don't look all that different.... their still working on their first new leaf set and the start of their next..... hard to get good pics with the lighting the way it is... once the fluorescent lights are in place I will just have them on for pic taking sessions.... I have moved them around a bit, and am still toying with a couple of ideas before flowering them... I probably won't flower them until mid May, so Im not too worried at the moment.... next weekend when I add the fluorescent lights I am going to make some alterations to the room, so the plants are going to have to be temporarily housed either outside or in the veg area.......

I expect more visual results by the end of this upcoming week. Right now the roots have just poked out the bottom of the rockwool cubes and are starting to explore.....

Just watchin them grow... its all very low maintenance, :D. I am having a really hard time selecting which plants I want to put in on the shelves though........ I will just have to figure it out in the next three weeks I guess.... I will post an update with pictures tomorrow or the next day... :D

I can only fit 10 5 gal. pots in there in order to have proper spacing and maneuverability, but its all good, :)...... 6 Purple Kush and 4 Sensi Star if I have my way. The room is still by no means complete. Im going to move the exhaust fan to the other side of the light, and cut the ventilation shorter so its only 3 1/2 ft to the exit point out the window with only a very slight curve. Then I am going to cut the extra ventilation in two pieces and hook it up to the window A/C, so I can ventilate it so it comes out lower on two opposing sides (you'll see, ;) ). The 4 sets of 2 4 ft tube fluorescents are going to go up lining the upper corners between the wall and tent ceiling, whether or not I add CFL's after all this will be determined by this grow (as it is too much of a hassle to arrange at this time, and I doubt they will be necessary). so that 1240W total, and yes I am shooting for a little more than a gram a watt, but hey, we'll see ;). the pots have a self made organic soil mix in it that you can see in my outdoor journal..... I think I have figured out what plants are lining the shelves too, :).... I will transplant them in a week, :D

the new leaf set has emerged on most plants, and the next set is visible. Looks like the nodes are going to be really close together :). I expect more explosive growth after the next watering which will probably be tomorrow as I watered with light feeding of Thrive Alive and 1/8 strength FF Grow Big yesterday. I will probably let them veg until May 15th or so.... I expect them to be about 14 inches by then.

lol... gunna veg for another two weeks, so if I'm a couple days into veg (the roots are still just starting doing their thing), then its about 2 1/2 weeks veg total. Im comparing their veg growth with my veg rooms fluorescent growth, cuz there's like 15 clones from the same batch in there. So far the ones under the 1000W are vegging faster! :)....

thanks..... I gave a very light feeding of FF Big Bloom, and FF Grow Big, and did a water flush from above 10 minutes later and force drained the table 10 minutes after that. They are looking super happy, every single one is working on its second or third (and two there fourth) new set of leaves. This is the beginning of the explosive growth I was talking about. I mix the water well before filling the table for good oxygen ppm, then mix again by hand once the water or feeding solution is in the table, halfway between filling it and draining it. I have also been watering with strait water from the tops to keep oxygen flowing through the pots properly. Roots are already at the bottom of the most healthy and vigorous clones. I am very accustomed to soil growing, so I forgot to balance the ph appropriately before the first feeding and flush 4 days ago, and I forgot how well coco choir holds nutes and gave a tad too much.... some leaf tips burned, but all the roots are healthy, and new growth is looking lush too.

Since I have a little extra room in the table reservoir I think Im going to add 2 or 3 more plants this weekend inside the table, bringing the total in the ebb and flow table 27 or 28, with 10 (maybe 15 if I add another collapsable shelf;) ) around the sides of the table shelve's. Making total plant count 37-38, or 42-44???..... I will figure that out as I go. I want to get as much weight out of each watt as possible. Im brainstorming free materials to make "root boxes" for the 1 gal pots in the table, as Im sure the roots are going to want to venture further than the bottoms to get em as big as I want them...... I think I have almost come up with a solution, I will smoke on it (resin :( )....... thats about all for now..... I get the impression when I am in there with them, that they feel lonely......
