I've had the idea for a bit but finally decided how to do it. I expect.some good growth and a bit.more watering.

In theory it should work like a charm!

Dude love the plants you got going on, and you've definitely got me interested in Hempy buckets. As far as thc production, yield, quality, etc. how does Hempy compare to DWC method?

Things are OK. Hella busy but I am still carving out time. I am super thankful for my wife. This time is not easy right now and at least I have her and the weed to help me deal with it all.

@BobBitchen Glad you get to do a run with her right away. Big nugs on small stems.. LOL be ready.

As for hempy. its easy... super easy... thats why I do it. Faster than soil but not as fast as DWC. We will see how my hempy-pot works. maybe best of both worlds... Looks good so far.

need to update you guys. I carved out time to do the swap. Veg tent is now the 2x4 and the 4x4 has the light bars in it. The 3x3 tent is the 400CMH vertical.

Also... Not sure how.. but I have a pest. I am waiting on my pure kapow. I have used seven, and ecosmart organic pesticide... and even neem thus far. Did not affect my flowering plants that just finished and seems they only like the "sweeter" plants in veg. I can SEE them though... there are little black specs under the lower leaves and I can see these very small whatevers. I seem to have slowed them down and I bet the lower temps are helping. The pure kapow seemed to annihilate anything in the garden last time. I was using it at maintenance dosage once a month and ran out... so of course pests came back. CA is the first place Ive had pests growing...LOL.

I am thinking its spidermites and that I just have good vision and can see them. LOL

I was thinking... You might want to add H2O2 to your "Pseudo-Hempy" once in a while because it being made of that material may be prone to get mouldy from being in constant humidity...

They seem to dry out pretty quickly. But not a bad Idea. I have subculture B too which can wipe out baddies.

Coolio then =) I knew you'd be on the ball.

Not really lately. Plants arent as green as they need to be. But the cups are kinda confining... Ive been super bad about getting them all transplanted. I never feel on the ball these days thats for sure.. LOL

How much stretch should I expect on the CP ?

hard for me to say as I have always tied down. Moderate compared to blue dream. This next round will be grown out regular. Should be interesting for me. LOL

Welcome to the club!

When I transplanted the LA Con clones the red cups were as dry as the air. I don't know why the plants never wilted. They are all looking much better in the 7 gallon smart pots.

Bob - Your LA Con stretched way more than mine did so I think it will be different for you than what SG saw.

I wish I knew Jigs was looking for a travelling partner! I would have loved to visit The Dam with him!

Not yet! I WAS planning to though before shit hit the fan so to speak.

My pure nutrient pure 3way came yesterday. I diluted 1-1 and added broners peppermint soap tsp. No more mites or whatever they were. I'll treat again in 4 days to make sure.

smart hempy:

5gl hempy with 10" saucer. filled with hydroton. Then perlite.. then topped with hydroton

Here is the 4x4 tent with them transplanted and getting ready. vegging under 6 3000k v18s. I think I have beat back whatever it is I i did have. cant find anything after the last treatment with pure 3way. Will probably spray again this weekend to make sure. Ive been letting the shed get pretty cold this week too.... I know it helps though it slows growth down to a stand still. LOL.
