I have ran the lamp in the cabinet vertical without the cooltube. Pretty slapped together really but I was testing. It produces very well. The plants stay in once in as they are worked into the screen and cant move. I am working on the waste drain system for my hempys this week and raising the cool tube up a few inches. Then it will be ready for the big plants in cut down 5gl buckets. I am hoping the control over the temp with the cool tube and AC that I will be able to get some pretty good yeild. The max I pulled before out of this cabinet with a vertical scrog was about 7oz. fingers crossed that the increase in tech will increase my yeild...LOL.

Yea.. she is getting a bit uncomfortable too right now... and that pretty much means I am uncomfortable....LOL

I used a Jig saw... was wishing for a plasma cutter the whole time but it worked non the less. I plan on running 4 plants in 5gl hempy buckets in a vertical scrog type setup. The big plants in the bottom will be moved up there after the clones root. I have an AK47 clone coming that is going in there also. Adding to the mom list will be AK47 and pre-98 Bubba. So I will be carrying:

Blue Dream
Diablo OG
Sour Bubble
AK47
pre-98 Bubba kush

I need to get this cabinet done so I can tear into making the other one. LOL Thank god the wife is supportive.

I have some seeds I am thinking of starting too... Need one more mom I think to have 6 as a nice number of strains.


OH... and I am working on 32gl trashcan scrog grow outside. Love the socal sun...LOL

well. Wife had NST and OB appointments yesterday. Dr. said it could happen anytime really. Wife thinks a couple more weeks. I'm skeptical... LOL! We cant wait but both nervous!

Ah man... I so know the feeling. We didn't pass our last NST and that's what made doc induce. It's like I'm right back there again. So so so excited/ nervous/ sick for you. People kept telling me enjoy right now while you can. I didn't understand them as you won't understand me, but enjoy your time right now. lol

But seriously, the only bit of advice I have for you. When you know it's time, either doc says so, or wife starts feeling waves... SLEEP. No shit. If you are at work and it starts, go home and sleep right then. And her too. Whatever it takes get some rest before it all Really starts... cuz sleep wont come so easy after that. Everyone told us and I didn't listen. Listen to me haha.... sleep when it's time for the birth.

Can't wait bro.

Thank goodness the baby has been doing awesome. Its the wife you has suffered this whole time. 2+ months of horrendous morning sickness. Then she had a 10cm fibroid tumor degenerate that put her on bedrest for over a month. Now she is just super pregnant! I just feel blessed things havent been worse. We lost one in fall of 2012.

Sleep... whats that? lol! I work and take care of so much shit...lol. I am happy we can manage the wife staying home for a while or this would be hell. Not that I dont WANT to heed this awesome advice... but chances are it wont happen...LOL. At least I get some time off to deal with everything once all hell breaks loose. We are not very far behind you!!!!

Not sure if you ever read, but we have lost a couple too. We lost our first at 21 weeks in Oct '10 and another at 8 weeks in March '11. It sure makes this trip extra long don't it? How far along were you guys last year?

it was at the first ultrasound which was a bit late at 10wks. I was living here with the new job and she was living with my daughter out of state finishing grad school. It was extremely difficult. My heart goes out to you losing two. So glad you have your daughter now. Never erases the others from the mind though IMO. I sent you mail

I have fired up the flowering section. 600w hps kept turning on and off. Tried it with the ballast at 400 w my 400w hps lamp and all is good. Im thinking the 600w lamp is bad. I finished the scrog screen and i almost have the drainage setup done on the hempy buckets. I will have pics tomorrow.

Dude, that looks great. Was wondering why you put a pic of a freezer, then I saw the next pic. Are those 5 gal buckets? Whats in them? looks like a mess of plant, not mess in a bad way, just a whole load in a little space. The pic of your hand made me gasp... AH, your gonna burn your hand. lol

The three moms are in 1gl buckets. The flower section hosts 4 plants in 5gl buckets with the hard plastic cut off the top. Sooo. The flower in about 4gl containers. Moms in 1gl and new plants in verying container sizes till they reach mom status... Lol. My hempy buckets are filled with hydroton on the bottom and straight perlite for the rest. The plants will be more impressive in flower. . They look that way after giving 6 clones each. All sturdy cuts.

Love the tube. Was scared the first time i grabbed it too! Lol. Glad to be getting stuff done! Wife is holding on for late
sept/oct she says. Lol.

COOL! I found that I can dim the 400hps bulb down to 250. I really need to get a new 600w lamp but this was kind of neat to discover. I didn't realize this and thought I would need different bulbs to run all three settings on the ballast.

Also... I am thinking the maiden voyage is going to start soon with the three moms. I will probably just flower three this time and then do four from there on. My reasons are I want to get going and the clones I have ordered are still probably a week or two from getting to me.

Mom survived her knee replacement today but is loopy. We did some shopping for baby stuff and passed another nst! Yay! Hopefully this kid will wait till later in the month. . That would make the wife happy.

You've gotten a lot of work done. Looks good. That grow space is gonna be crazy!!!

Plants LOVE the new space. temps are perfect all the time in the cabinet with the AC and cooltube. I will be tying them down to the screen tonight. This round is gonna be alot of fun.

I gotta take some pictures. I tied them down. I think they will fill it up quite well. Things seem to be working well... thank goodness.

I got one sour-bubble clone already rooting. That is pretty descent for about a week. I need to get some solo cups to get them into once they all get some good roots. Ultimately if all those clones root I will just have to pick the strongest and ditch some... I like staying in my limit for the most part.
