awesome! shes earned a spot :) the other cheese phenotypes will definitely be closed compared, as #2 set bar high. She wasn't nearly as vigorous as the #1 that made it to the greenhouse either. I cant wait to smoke her!

yea, it never ceases to amaze me how lucky we got! everything lined up just at right time when I had cash to move to.

I picked up my new batch of hatched chicks...18 of them! Up to 36 chickens now lol. Getting 5 more tomorrow to, the feed store is doing 5 free chicks w/ puchase of a bag of chick feed. So, going to have quite a nice flock.

36 chickens, 3 ducks, 3 geese, and 5 rabbits....talk about manure for worms and amending soil!

To be honest I feel like most modern nations are like that...made it cost money simply to exist. While we don't have communist/dictator levels of oppression (Yet) we certainly aren't free to live as we choose. But such is life, this is the world we have to work with. I know I am going to carve out the biggest piece of the pie I can till I'm dead and buried.

Shit i have a whole new direction for my place now. Bring the earth ship book when to stop by too bro.
ohhhh now your in my territory:) wait till you see my solar greenhouse with a thermal (earth ) battery.it heats my house we only have a wood stove and hella thermal mass... the aquaponics i am hooking up next month when it cools off a little .... i live in a modified earthship just without the black and greywater systems (yet) ... we are working on it but being on a hill on a southface in the rockies too much water letting loose at once would tear us right off the side of the hill:)
the permaculture book by bill mollison is a good resource too...

man that is the truth papa. money to exist. why?

I'd already looked at the aquaponics stuff last week, the ready made systems are stupidly expensive for a basic hydro system.
this earthship biotecture business is amazing.
