UGH FUCK CARPORTS! I hate em!!!!! Just spent 4 hours redoing the plastic, and adding even more posts, and strapping 2x4s between legs. First damn rain and grommets ripped off. I am seriously doubting the carport will make it to much longer...my only hope is it lasts till I can dismantle it and dance around it naked screaming at it. Fucking POS. I know my plants need till atleast mid october too..

Yep, they are 1.5 inch thick 4x8 insulation panels. I love the look of them as well. I simply love the new room, been dealing with subpar rooms or tents for ever, and its so time to step my game up. Yea pest suck! Although, I'll take spider mites over root aphids or brood mites anyday. I have had SM many times, yet to have any issues getting rid of them, especially caught with only 1 leaf damaged.

Yea man you can. Dr.d81s hoop house is the bees knees. Cheaper, sturdier, and better all around. If I never grow in a carport again, it will be to soon. I added 20 feet of 2x4s so far with metal strap to the sides, and got plastic stapled, then a top plate screwed on top keeping plastic secured. (in the pouring rain might I ad)

he put up a great vid on building a BIG poly tunnel for cheap . cant remember why he switched to carport . just glad it keeps the rain off
Because I'm retarded lol. A lot of,people seem to love carport greenhouses....that is a,question I keep askibg though. I hate them....damn bricks, under legs are easy to knock over in the wind, and constantly, having to buy more to add ain't cheap. I keep wondering what the upside to them is...live and learn and, bitch in the mean time :)
Hopefully it cAn function 6-8 more weeks.

Did u like any those owner carry deals I pmed? I figure we need,to have a lease or,something by March to be able to really go big and not,be,late into, season. And yea that size would be awesome. Enough room for monsters and walkways

yea, I am to broke to build the hightunnel this year, gotta wait till the harvest when my funds are back up. I jumped on the carport band wagon, and have to just make it work till I can do it the right way. I am thinking one of the frames would serve a lot better as a moveable chicken run, and the other might make a nice goat barn.
