Soil additives???

What can be added to soil for interesting bud responces. Ex; is the banana peel theory of making a plant more of a white widow like creature? Will adding fruits or anything make the plant have differential colour or taste?
When should this kind of tampering be done in the plants life cycle?

Certain things will help if released into the soil. The white widow thing you heard isnt true however! white widow is a strain, not something you can create from adding fruit! although fruit peels and skins are a great source of organic nitrogen just as dead leaves are. The only way to change or morph the genetics of any plant would be to clone it and crossbreed it with something else!

worm castings would be much more effective. also some perlite, vermiculite, and trace minerals.

if your going to be composting as you are suggesting, you need to let your recipe break down over time first.

Heres a really good soil mix. With this mix there is NO ADDITIONAL NUTES added during the grow.

8 1.5 cubic foot bags of amended soil (fox farms etc.)
25 pounds worm castings
1/2 cup AZomite trace minerals
2/3 cup dolomitic lime
1 kilo bone meal
1 kilo blood meal
1 kilo bat guano bloom formula
3/4 cup epson salts
1/4 BIG bag of chuncky perlite
1 5k bale of cocogrow.

Really good mix. Don't use additional ferts during the grow just correct ph water.
