Just give it up man. Havnt you figured out by now that i give two shits in a bucket about whether this plant lives or not. I live in the weed STATE. I am perfectly capable of getting fat bags of chron from any of 20 local dealers open 14 or more hours a day.

Is it so hard to figure out why someone might want to experiment? Go get a hobby man. Wait I heard of a great hobby the other day... OH YEAH growing pot.

Go spend the time you spend trolling my thread taking care of your plants.

By the way all advancements in horticulture have been made by people like me who are willing to take risks.

What you're seeing in those pictures are called adventitious buds. Not actual bud but growth from an area that was wounded and healed. This type of growth, adventitous bud creation, only happens to wounded areas. Socko might be or might not be stressed but her growth has been stunted because all of her meristematic tissue energy that was built up to push her up and out has now been used to heal the wound(s) you caused. I'm not so sure about all of this hermaphrodite weed plant business but cultivation of any plant is mostly the same most of the same rules apply. I'm learning a lot about pruning recently and am trying to find the best ways to cut my plant to maximize yield. I'm happy that something like this has been posted. It's real neat in my opinion.

An interesting angle but I have updated pictures of Socko's growth and its getting confusing because she looks as though shes sprouting more than two stalks. I dont know what this means but if it is some way possible to preform some sort of double top im gonna figure out how I did it and wll most definatly share.

At this point the only worry I have with Socko is her round leaves are starting to brown. (i do have a ph kit and i tested runoff but did not see anything out of order.)

I believe they are just coming to the end of their usefullness and Socko is shedding them. My other guess is the tin foil is starting to effect them so I went to the dollar store and grabbed super reflective mylar wrapping paper Mogie had mentioned.

By the way its $1 for 15 sq ft so i got 30. Look for the wrapping paper in the foil category. It should be Sparkle(brand) Metalized gift wrap (metalized waterproof poly gift wrap) Any color with that on the label will do. You dont want the outside color you want the silver reflective back of the wrapping paper. expose a top corner and check the back side of it before you buy.

Thats why I am not too worried about the sprout leaves. The main leaves (much more effective) are a deep healthy green. I vary watering based on soil saturation and my nutrients are coffee grounds and human urine. The soil I am using is a 4 dollar 12quart bag of premixed transplant soil with turd ferts in it. Whitney Farms brand (ingredients: Aged and processed softwood bark and sawdust, sphagnum peat moss, pumice, and composted animal manures

nice you should just mix a little bit of active yeast in a 2 liter bottler with about 2 and a half or 3 cups of sugar . . and then badda bing badda boom . .

Funny you should mention that I'm also a home brewer. I pump out 5 gals every week or so. lots of left over yeast that I just culture off for the next batch. But id need to free up one of my airlocks because open air brewing sours and creates vinegar.

oh and the intake air is from my room and i brew in my room.

you are doing nothing new. you should have let it get to be several nodes high. then cut a few off the top and bottom. the first 2 bottom branches are always weak and spindly. if you would have femmed it you would have gotten up to 8 tops. but like i said i the beginning, your going to do whatever you want.
