That must be why they all leave. Too bad those living here have yet to figure anything out either. In the land of ideas and facts people on opposing sides of an argument don't let the discussion affect their personal relationships.
Hey man, I stopped coming on here for a year or so, came back few months ago and this site has changed for the worse! Everyone is just at eachothers throats, and telling everyone else they are fucking stupid and don't know how to grow! LOL we are like a bunch of assholes with no weed! What I am saying is that we are supposed to be happy stoners, but all we do is try and tear eachother down to make ourselves look better! I got caught up in it last week and now I am thinking again of not coming back here! I am not saying it will be a big loss or RIU will miss me at all! :o But fuck people alot of experianced growers that use to be on here are now long gone! and without those people this site is absolutely useless! And I don't include myself in the "exp growers" group. But I do know a couple of things! ;)

This was a thread about a fair deal between provider and paitient, and we are now calling eachother stupid and talking about Obamacare and other useless shit that has no buisness in this thread! Kinda like this whole rant that has nothing to do with OP! :wall: Fuck it I'm stupid too! LOL

Stay green my friends and calm down! Im gonna go smoke some Purple trainwreck that just got done! Never had this one before so I'm excited! :weed:

Arizona will always be behind in the progressive thinking/new industry curve.
This should not be a surprise when the "governess" demands unwarranted respect and blatantly appoints officials based on good 'ol association vs merit/ability. Same mentality with some of the current cert holders.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upholding an agreed upon contract between patient and caregiver is what is fair .
Too many scammers out here for either party to not initially have their head on a swivel. Longevity with a quality grower is worth way more than getting over on people for a free ounce or whatever else... Look at the alternative, dispensary retail prices...

By law you can't charge patients for labor spent on the garden only resource reimbursement. If a patient feels they are being ripped off they have the power to remove their caregiver at any time. Does that mean their caregiver will stop growing if that happens, in most cases I dont think so. Patients now have the option of going to a dispensary. So if a caregiver would be growing regardless whether that patient assigned them then why should they give a patient anything for free? Do doctors work for free one sick patients? Are you saying that sick people have a right to free healthcare because i have always been in favor of universal healthcare.
With different interpretations of our law, just like California and Colorado, a private caregiver circle is legal under certain circumstances. Every patient buys in to our business model. Basically making them "share holders" of our company. With keeping our number of patients low including our plant numbers, everything is 100% legal in the eyes of our state. All we are offering is consistent medicine at the cost of production. Our model is basically like a Costco. We offer the best product possible at a comfortable price.

I like caregiver circle concepts but would we not be seriously limited here because of the 25 mile rule?
Lets say this was a totally honest world and everyone strictly abides by written law...

The 25 mile rule does not effect these organizations except for the fact that the caregiver growing must find patients outside 25 miles.

I understand that part, i imagine there will be very few patients/caregivers that are beyond the radius if dispensaries go full tilt. Right now this is a prime concept, but lets talk hypothetically. Some rural areas exist but if the patient population begins to climb excessively in certain areas it may raise red flags over at the douchepartment. (Dont want to get off the topic here)
Again, lets pretending it is a totally honest world... Again hypothetical..

There is nothing in the law about having too many patients in a certain area. In addition the way things stand I don't see the dispensaries being able to realistically operate at full tilt without changing the laws vis a vi 25 mile rule and donations to dispensaries.

Scottsdale has stipulations saying caregivers cannot be residential...
Obviously the law does not have a section specifically regarding Scottsdale, but I assume the municipality can make these rules?

so what kind of deal do you care providers make with patients?

depending on the patients condition/s and ability to reimburse are considered first.

If a patient is able to help with costs of the grow then they will get a reimbursement
plan but not every patient is able to afford the costs associated with cultivating so in
this case offer them free herb on a harvest schedule.(1 z a month - 2-3z per harvest)
any monies lost in giving free medicine will be gained in reimbursements from other
patients.

So 2 options...
1 free z per month per patient
OR
A reimbursement plan - $160-$250 per z (depends amount harvested)

Not at all. We will have a few spots to fill but in my group there is 4 caregiver/patients + myself. As a total we have 21 patients. That is plenty considering we don't have more then 90 plants EVER at one time. A lot of the patients are in cities most haven't even heard of. We planned ahead ;)

The only thing wrong that I would warn people about is taking your Paitients advice, help in your garden. My experiance is there is only room for one growers opinion in a grow room! LOL look at these forums! Also if they feel they helped you more than you feel they did they may no longer be happy with what you are "giving" them? Also that opens up to more people knowing what is going on! They start talking your ass gets robbed not them! Multiple paitents all having a different "Deal" sounds like a bad idea also. one guy will be wondering why the other one gets it for less...... blah blah

Just my thoughts. Finding a group of like minded growers that are all going to pitch in and help, then take/want their even share? I realy can't see that happening but I could be wrong.

Here is a question,
If you are a caregiver and you leave your plants unattended for 5 days, what would happen?
i've left them on automatic for 4 days. they were in flower, i put the light up as high as it would go, watered them until they couldn't hold another ounce of water and put a couple large buckets of water in there to keep things nice and humid. when i got back they needed watering but could have gone one more day without dying. it wouldn't have been good for them but pot is a hardy mo fo!

If I personally go on vacation I have helpers tend to the garden. But if nobody was there for 5 days I'd come back to plants that need some water. I have yet had one plant die on me in soil. Call me lucky...

I had a buddy leave his to go to a detox, his wife was supposed to water them but didn't. He was gone for 4-5 days and all of his leaves were drooping and yellowing. He watered them but the majority of the leaves were yellow and dead so he took them down. My plants would die! Depending on what stage of flower they were in! My girls early in flower will be a little pissed at me maybe some dead leaves, 3-4 weeks into flower they are dead! No questions about it, they would be dead as shit!

Electricity -- $500
Bulbs -- $150
Clones -- $240
Nutes -- $200
Coco -- $50
CFilter -- $100

About $1400 a grow when you factor in shit that breaks, etc. Time spent... 40-50 hours.
