so what kind of deal do you care providers make with patients?

if it isn't impolite to ask.

i'm just curious as all get out how it works.

i give you my 12 plant grow rights.

what do i get?

and how do you prove that you know what you're doing?

i've seen some pretty small plants that are part of a caregivers grow. i'm damn sure not giving my grow rights to someone who can't get at least an OZ per plant every 3 months or less.

do you charge people for the pot or do you just keep a percentage of the total yeild?

i would do it just to be able to grow out more of my genetics but i'm real lazy. :)

give it up.

AND i went on leafy.com and i see all these compassion clubs listed. have any of you used any in the mesa area?

i'm kind of curious what they are trading for donations of $20 per gram, and if it's as good or better than mine. if mine's better, i want to give them some buds and laugh.

i'm thinking of picking up a gram of this and a gram of that. the only thing i'm looking for is a couch lock indica. i have grown out several of the supposed best and they were mostly 6s. i want an 8 at least. sleep stash.

i'm thinking the garden of eden in apache junction.

1 free oz per month, $200 reimbursement per extra oz. Proof is in the pudding and they should be able to provide pics of their grow.

Cheap as hell zips, and one to two plants that are all theirs! per cycle. Don't care if they put out 1 oz or 4! I think that is fair.

I do one oz free per month and any extra pays what it cost to produce. So in the summer it's 2-300 per oz and winter is 100-200 per oz. cost wld be lower but my dumbass uses Canna :) also I give the patient an option to have one or two plants of a particular strain for themselves...depending on the arrangement, most people just want my genetics lol

I'm no genius grower....
on 12 plants....that is a too hard to figure. 4oz/plant will give you 3lb. 3lb is about an oz/wk for a year.

...and 4oz is not very much to get from one plant.

i'll keep it simple. i'm shocked at how little the patient gets out of the arrangement.

i have over 60 indoor grows under my belt so i have some small insight into expenses involved and the return on this investment.
i used to do a cost and price analysis on many of the projects i worked on. i'd love to do one on a grower with 5 patients.

expenses = rent, elec, nutes, labor, (insurance?). what else...

it's a bidness and one with a damn fine return on investment. got it.

good thing i started vac sealing some bags of pot and putting them into long term storage at my Ex's. being at the tender mercies of care givers would drain my meger bank account in a few months.

Big Pharma wants everyone to be deathly ill so they can dangle their meds in front of us at the price of your soul vs. death!!! I'm better than that.

This obviously ISN'T COLORADO, and if I can grow 60 plants, I can probably afford to be stupid enough to give away five ounces a month. 60 plants produces much more than 15 ounces in 3 months, and most people I have met use more than 1 oz a month....so no one is doing this for free.

I'm sure the agreements between patients and caregivers vary, good thread Fatboy, something I've been wondering too.

1 z from 12 plants.... Now that's a deal. Do you grow? I ask because you should know the cost of cultivating 1 z is not 200 like you are claiming.

12 plants can produce 24-36+ oz indoor... To give up 1 z per month is genius. HA. Lets do the math....

5 patients
60 plants
harvest every 2-3 months(could be more harvests)
Each patient receives 1 z per month - 5 z a month
Each harvest you will have to give up 10 z to make up for the monthly 1z for 5 patients.
So 10z total out of 24-36 z harvested every 2-3 months...
Now imagine if the caregiver was a patient too... Add 12 more plants to that(24 more oz every 2-3 months)
Makes a lot of sense to me.....

Note - it is hard to pull less than 2oz off a plant indoor under a 1k. Many factors play into the equation.. (Strain, genetics, environment so on...)
50% Nurture / 50% Nature

if i give you the right to grow 12 plants for me and you get to keep a percentage of it, how the fuck am i getting anything for free? keeping something like 75% of the crop isn't enough eh? some people are simply greedy, low life scum mother fuckers.

Im personally taking Half the harvest of unprocessed bud of every grow cycle. That is fair.I also kick in half of the nutes
...and 1/2 the cost of the lights, hangers, fans, co2, nutrients, pots, RO machine for water, ect. etc. Oh, add 1/2 the risk of someone telling someone and you ended up robbed. Should be a portion for rent in there because plants to take up space.

This is a loaded question in general. It really depends on supply and demand. If a caregiver is an impeccable growers and constantly has high quality medicine and top genetics then it is not very hard for them to find patients, so a grower like that does not have to offer anything to the patients other than access to buy their product. If a grower is not a adept or does not have good patient service then they may have to offer something to entice the patient. I'll say this if you want free weed the closest you will get is if you grow it yourself, and when you do you'll realize there is nothing for free in life.

We grow outdoor but if a indoor setup was required I would not mind going half on the setup cost. At 12 plants average yield should be around 4 oz per plant that is 48 oz every grow cycle I can pull that off for $200 Nutes & electricity and of course you have to have the setup. I can build a setup for 900 dollars!!

Nothing comes free and my patients understood this. My patients paid for my caregivers card, 1000w ballast, bulb, ballast and filter. In turn I promise one oz free per month and and any excess they pay cost it was to produce + time invested / oz produced. That price comes out hell of fair for the medicine you receive. The only costs I have is rent, water, and power. Soil I tend to reuse and bottled nutrients are very slim in my garden. My cost vs what I produce is not even comparable. I feel I rip most patients off with only an oz when I just produced 45oz off their 12 plants. I have people lining down the street hoping I have a spot to fill so they can get in on the action. With the teAm I have built we have plenty of very happy patients that are more then thankful for not being a typical "middle man" trying to make as much coin possible.

My outlook has always been, " you give a little I will give a little." we all know what is being produced off these 12 plants and to not let someone at least have something in turn for filling your pockets you are fucking scum of the earth. Taking advantage of consumers is one thing, but to abruptly take advantage of the sick is plain wrong.
