UPDATE:

Ok chaps been scrogging hard!! All she has just wanted to do is shoot upwards and stretch so I am glad made the call to switch to flower early as I have had the room to move it around in the screen. She is very flexible even in week 2 of flower so can really bend her around like a horse show without snapping. She was made to SCROG! The liquid silicon may have something to do with it though as the trunk is pretty fat and strong branches to support some nice flowers I hope!

Nutrients wise she climbed up to 850PPM feed with was around 32ml bloom, 10ml micro, 2ml grow and 5ml liquid silicon and she is on a flush at the moment as for the first time the PPM went up ever so slightly but don´t see any discomfort from it. Still drinking around 2/3 liters a day as I have to change res every 2 days right now.

Just getting a second waterfarm going to prep the next one on T5.. I am a bit stuck what seed to pop though the choice is:
- Barneys Farm LSD (Love this strain grew it in UK for tiiiime, miss it and know it performs well)
- Cali Connection Girl Scout Cookies (have heard this stuff is THE SHIT, so kinda wanna try to see if it´s true)

Any thoughts? lol

Thanks bro! Yer shes a sexy bitch. Im really excited how she is going to look in another 2 weeks. Got flower formation on the go now and some nice white pistons. Quite a late bloomer compare to say Tangilope where it had flowers by week 2. Well she goes into week 3 on Monday so I expect the magic is going to happen and happen fast when it does! haha.

@horribleherk - whats the flower on this strain? Says 8/9 weeks on the website but I am going to say 9/10 is more accurate estimate? Keen for xmas smoke lol

I liked mine at about 8 weeks milky color in the jewelers loupe I would sample a nug at 8 weeks & take it from there your pheno seems slightly from mine ( no generating the sporadic 3 finger leaves throughout the whole growth cycle) everything else seems the same especially the stretch

Ok Update time and we have flowers! She is a right bugger shooting upwards at every opportunity. Probably one of the most difficult SCROG canopies I have had to keep even lol As you will see from the pics I have literally just stopped weaving as its opened the middle up more pulling the big branches out to the side as much as possible.. I think it safe to say that it is pretty full so I am now letting her go and do what she wants - to grow upwards lol

Water uptake has been a lil less than normal last day or so and sure enough the PPM had gone up about 150 and the PH down to about 5.3 so she is on a good flush for 24-48 hours and I will put her back in around 20B, 10M, 2G and 4ml of silicon. RH has been a bit higher then a I like though... Anyway enough rambling and more pics:

Cool mate, yer I am seeing very quick development now in week 3. So yer 5/6 weeks looks to be on the money. RUUUUDE! Yer thats weird with the 3 leaves not had a single one on this girl but the stretch is ridiculous. Really appreciate your tips and journals to pick up on this this or I could have been in trouble.

Sounds very promising bro.
Shes thursty and hungry.

Hopefully the buds grow explosive like the rest of that plant.
Just imagine...with that many tops you will have a very nice yield if all works out fine!

Yes mate shes on course for a healthy yields, still wants to stretch but its slowing now. Not had a chance to check on her today but late last night i took a reading and PPM shot up to 680 on a flush so Iv changed res on another flush and then il put the nutes back in, so no dramas. Keen to see how she looks tomorrow will try to update.

hahahahhaahha that pics awesome. Waynes World is classikks.

Yer man Waterfarms in this small cabinet style setup work amazingly. The challenges you face are: HEAT. Lowering the light an inch can raise your temps enough to fry it. I keep the light quite a healthy distance from the plant. The enclosure is so small and has light bouncing all around the canopy I don´t think Lumen performance is an issue, although technically the biggest lumen loss is adding distance. Oh to have CMH technology here affordable hey bro... Or an S&P TD super silent fan to pump warm air out before it has a chance to sit and raise temps hmmmm lol

Thank you for the nice words mate. Thats making me proud!
And same here happy to know you!
Its always great to know good people like you!

Over here in this thread iam just watching like a lil kid with my eyes sparkling on the magic my mate inthesystem is doing. Hes the guru on those waterfarms and a source of knowledge!

I always was a soilman myself and only had one grow with a diy waterfarm like unit. It showed great performance thats why i will do a waterfarm run in spring using my diy unit again but in scrog mode this time.
hope i can get results like inthesystem

Peace

Yes heat is a problem and ill need a good exhaust to deal with it.

The advantage of cmh that i can see is the combination of mh spectrum along with the red spectrum of hps in one bulb.
but today cdm/cmd is the up to date technology when it comes to ceramic based bulbs.
philips master color cdm t evolution have the best micromol/s rating i have seen and their outer tube is not made from glass. The new material allows a higher pressure inside the bulb what makes it possible to have a thinner design of the burner inside....so less light is lost.
would love to test them but they are still expensive compared to conventional growlights. At least for me.
until they drop the price to half or so i will stick to my 600w hps and if needed ill add my cooltube. But i hope i can go without the cooltube by running the big exhaust to deal with the heat.

Mate those S&p td silent fans are just awsome looking at the db ratings. Thats the way to go for a stealth setup bro.
i know if my fan got to be replaced i will buy one of those for sure.

Peace

Yer man Im gonna look at getting one I think for januarys grow. Expensive but saves all the issues. That and that silent air pump I sent you the Amazon link to and on to a winner for sure bro. I think Il wait for CMD technology to come down in price in terms of ballasts and itl be 315w phillips all the way!
