Your tent is two meters in height bro....how much of real headspace can you use of it?
Well with the light, filter, waterfarm raised up a little for easy draining - height is a problem. I usually install the screen 7 - 10" above the top of the waterfarm and I flip her onto 12/12 when the screens just over half full or 3/4 - this way it gives me plenty of gaps to weave in during that explosion on week 1/2 of flower

My sky walker behaved different after cloning it than it did from seed my first grow of it from seed was very slow to start budding after the switching of the light to 12 hrs. But the clones took right off I placed an order from attitude last night for th seeds mk-ultra x bubblegum which also included 2 free mk - ultra seeds promo also got 2 elemental true og seeds pick- n- mix you don't know how hard it was to resist ordering sky walker again it's that good but me being the strain junkie I am have left the security of a known performer maybe not the best decision time will tell I'll be starting a journal soon & look forward to you stopping by meanwhile keep up the good work

Cool man, link me up when your going :bigjoint::bigjoint:

Thanks for the heads up with the Skywalker again, these little bits of info are helping shape up my grow (such as the stretching), appreciated. I will be using Liquid Silicon when I switch the lights over too as I found this can kick them off into flowering a bit better as well as other benefits in the roots and resistance. I will probably switch her onto 400 HPS in the next 3 or 4 days once I am happy with how she is shaping up - expect she will go nuts then.

You could run a bonsai mother under 20-30watts of cfl.
I would incase I came across something that good.
just for the report.

Funny you say that bro. Iv been looking at t5 strips or just cfl socket bulbs to set up a little nursey area low in height put enough to fit a couple of mums and clones etc ;)

The silicon should strengthen the limbs as I had some snap in my first grow the pics from that grow were lost when Riu crashed awhile back I veg with a 4 bulb 18" t-5 set up I can't wait to get back up & running the evacuations from the Forrest fire have slowed me down its been quite hectic lately but things are getting better & soon I'll once again be a contributing member of our little community here

Yer man fo sure. Yer I think I am going to get a propagation tent and t5 actually. I am getting a second Waterfarm so I have 2 plants on cycle in flower too - so to cut the veg time out and keep genetics is the goal - my seed collection now is Cali Connection Girl Scout Cookies, Barneys LSD and Humbolt Blue Dream, I'm in a serious dilemma with the whole situation, especially if this Skywalker is as good as you say or like I had in The Netherlands lol So I think the 4 bulb T5 is the best bet for me also as they can cover a good area with the length/width with high lumens, low watt.

I would go for t5!
Better coverage of space and bonsai moms and clones realy love it.

In the past I usef a diy two store vegcab.
I had 120cm workshop flurotubes. Was verry cheap and they came with bulbs. The cool thing was the bulbs had exactly the right spectrum for veg. I ran six bulbs in the lower section of the cab for veg and 4 bulbs in the upper section for moms clones and germinating seeds. Worked very well.

My old setup was continuous as I cloned in rock wool cubes under a single t-5 & heatmat-dome then into 3x3x4 r/w blocks under the 4 bulb t-5s to veg as the plants I took the clones from we're finishing it worked out pretty good for me when I harvested I would remove the plastic from around the r/w blocks &a transfer them into the coco/ smart pots to start the cycle all over again

Ok small update as I managed to get an SD card and battery for my canon camera after 6 months+ LOL Been super super super busy lately so its been hard to manage everything as Iv been on DIY projects, work 13 hours a day and other shit... Anyway, I am looking forward to the weekend as it's also payday so I will try to have a beer and update the thread properly with more photos etc. Generally she is doing ok though, was showing some signs of mg or iron deficiency I think.. She was due for a flush anyway so after that new res and upped the nutrients to around 12ml Grow 5ml Micro 5ml Bloom and seems to have sorted her out. EC is also steady/declining so I will have to keep up with her more now.... Oh shes on HPS too now, so probably adapting to POWER also lol Temps gone up to about 30c so Il get the bigger fan out on weekend

PH: 5.7
EC: 0.8

Looking good it's really cool seeing someone grow something that I have & using a different method I just retired in June & like you worked long hours it's nice to come home to a cold beer & check out your grow & tinker with things it makes that finished product all the more enjoyable I might be wrong but I'm thinking you might be in the UK somewhere I'm in the U.S. In cen- Cali & have just recently moved to the hills in the Sierra Nevada gold country

Lucky you man, but well deserved. I am 27 so long way off unless I win the lottery..... I dont play the lottery so maybe I should? lol Close but no cigar mate... I am from the UK but live in Spain. So I struggle with temperatures and humidity like a mo fucker. This is mostly as I can´t run huge fans and ac because of noise and consumption but this is all stuff I am working on. As we say in Spain, Poko a poko... I also live in the hills mate but not quite high enough where I would like but . Once I can afford property and some projects come to life I am working on, shit will get real lol I bet its real nice retired up in the hills with your little projects to keep you busy... Bliss.

Yer man it is cool I have your threads to look into as a reference also so I am not going in blind. I think it will show with this grow. When I have a beer and big spliff in my hand saturday I am going to go through them again more thorough. Also keep any tips coming! much appreciated

Yer man, she will be good. Shes starting to really explode with growth now so I am training her and probably put the SCROG net in early next week. I thought about keeping the CFL going and really short internode spacing BUT I wanted to let her rip in a chance of something maybe smokable for xmas/new year.. But wel see. Could be wishful thinking

Ok another small update as I managed to get finished on work early on a Friday score, she is starting to take off now. Going to build a new, tougher SCROG screen tomorrow or Sunday as it will be needed. I am just flushing her again and I am bumping the nutrients up to 15ml of grow as the EC dropped on the last feed quite a bit. Root system is awesome

Ok update and I have my beer and spliff in hand. Happy days! Ok she has been doing really well. My EC meter had some water spilt on it and not working atm so I am back on the PPM meter which tbh I prefer, just because it is what I started with. Just got the EC meter as my mate at grow shop was flogging it. Thought I would use it for the grow lol. Anway she is on 700PPMs now and its declining so all looking good, havn't really had to deal with much so pretty smooth really in general past the getting her going stage... She is really thirsty now, drinking a 1/3 of the res nearly in 24 hours. Current nutrients is 15ml Grow, 10ml Micro and 4ml Bloom. Ph sat at 5.5-5.7

These will be the last pics of her without a SCROG screen, so enjoy:

hahaha thanks man. No just good old TLC with the help of General Hyroponics of course, I guess that is the steroids lol But you are totally right, incredible root system with not much on top - this was destined to happen :D She has totally sucked up the nutrients on last feed so I will bump that up to 800PPM tomorrow on res change.
