Side by side molasses experiment?

Hello all,

I know this should probably be in Organics, but I want to get as many opinions as possible. I am rounding off my second week of flowering on my 400W ScrOG. I just procured a bottle of unsulphured organic blackstrap molasses, and I am going to give a first dose tonight. When reading up on molasses use, I noticed that there was a lot of talk about a "side by side molasses experiment", but I was never able to find anyone who went for it. Does anyone have a link to where someone actually went for it? If not, I would love to be the guinea pig. Is there any interest in this? Has it already been done? Give me the word, everyone, because I am going to give the ladies a nice dose of molasses tonight. Should I try to settle this endless debate?

yes, please try to settle the debate.. I hope I am wrong... but I bet you don't notice a difference.. i suspect that the nutrient industry is similiar to the drug industry... a giant racket!!

Alright, the deed has been done. I have three plants, and two of them are the same strain. I gave molasses to one of my Great White Sharks (the smaller one; it isn't much smaller, but if the molasses really is what many claim it is, it should treat me well.) as well as to the bagseed sativa I am gorwing, because, I figure it couldn't hurt. If I weren't too stoned to take a few snapshots right now, I would. I think I have pretty good representation of where they are in my grow journal; and besides, it is the future progress that counts. Tonight was to be a plain water night, but I am also giving them Tiger Bloom every other time. I suppose I will alternate with TB and plain water or molasses, depending on the test subject. I will post a little update tomorrow, and see if there are any immediate results. I hope this experiment works out, because I owe a large debt to this community. Stay tuned.

Well, I will provide pictures. If you give me about 20 minutes. I just got home from a long night of working and drinking. Hold on.

Alright,

Here is just a little pic. This is only 24 hours after the first feeding, so there cannot be much of a difference by now. I suppose I will keep it going in this thread. Here is 24 hours after the first feeding of molasses, 14 days into flowering. I am feeding the closer one on the left (a Great White Shark) molasses every other watering; while the one on the right gets plain 6.2 pH water. On the other waterings, they are both receiving a bit of FoxFarm Tiger Bloom. I hope it goes well.

you could really only do this with clones. even the same strain of a plant could have different phenotypes which could throw off the entire experiment.
