If this is the only job you can get because of neck tattoos, huge holes in your ears, and blue hair...not my fault.

the 18% is tacked on to ensure the server gets a decent tip for hustling for a larger group as well,as I feel, curbing assholes who want separate checks
You are correct.

It's no big deal on separate checks anymore, most restaurant software is now built with that capability.

It's pretty easy, actually.

I do tip at any sit down restaurant and don't have a problem with it.

I don't tip at Starbucks and the like because I don't shop there. Stale cookies and shitty overpriced coffee with lackluster service from a carnie reject that wrote my name on the cup baffles me. How these places are not only in business but thriving is beyond me. More power to em.

Insightful. As usual.

Not.

I was responding to a 'what if' scenario.

Now answer my question..when do you plan on paying the taxes on ALL that pocketed cash?
I think it is your obligation as an American to pay as little as possible in taxes. Respect our founding fathers.

at least.restaurant profit will be 33% of the actual meal cost(to the customer)roughly.figure in a $7-8hr increase in each employees pay and tack that on to the meal cost if a guest stays and eats for an hour.
Be careful.

You are well on your way to being called a bigot.

Didn't you hear? The founding fathers were racist as fuck so we shouldn't listen to their words on government, free speech, and guns.

The $5 cup of coffee with your name on it, I would imagine, is how they stay in business.

Is your body a form of your own private property or does somebody else own it ? It's yours.

Do you find it acceptable for others to control your body or is that something you should decide ?
You should decide.
can you even say that you own your land if you're not allowed to rape 8 year old children on it?
