Should My Light Mover be on 24/7 or 18/6 for Veg Room?

I have a 6 foot light rail in my veg room. I am wondering if I should leave the light and rail on 24 hours a day. I usually do 18 on 6 off for veg, but I have never used this light rail before and am curious. When the light moves to one end of the rail, the other end of the room is not completely dark, which is why I'm curious if I should have it on for 24 hours or just use my regular 18 6 cycle. I'm pretty sure I should use my 18 6 cycle even if the light is moving. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I always use 18/6 no matter what. We all are trying to create environments similar to Earth and we always have a dark period here.
