I know what your saying!!! The backbreaking work of getting the bud ready and cleaning all those eyeleaves. I grow 25 clones at a time and I have separated them so I harvest five and plant five every two weeks. This makes it easier than trying to clean the whole crop all at once and start a new crop all at the same time. I find that the young clones enjoy the company of the larger plants so I have less runting. I also reduce the eyeleaf problem with stringy bud by grinding it all(except stalk) into powder to be bound into hash by removing the oil and stuff from the bunk with 2 doses of methol hydrate and two more cookings with water. Boil water and hydrate together until oil appears, cut proper amount of grindings and press. Now you have good hash and supreme buds, no waste and less pruning.

so your leaves in the veg room are going from 9 bladed or 7 bladed down to 3 bladed? That one I don't get. I can understand it if it's during flowering, it happens then. but not during veg.

Let me ask this, is it new growth that you're looking at? Sometimes you'll only be able to see 3 blades, but the others will develop given a little more time....They're just extremely small. too small for the eye to see right away..

Yes I use airstones in my resevoirs. i turn them on every hour for 15 minutes/ 50 gal rez.

I use a timer with seconds. they're morer expensive but you can really dial in your watering. i think 1min/5 min is excessive. Just gotta see what the plants tell you. If they droop you are probably overwatering. If they start to curl you are underwatering. Just gotta dial it bro. Good Luck!! hit me up if I can help!!
