Should I harvest now or ok to wait two weeks? What's your opinion?

Will by plant survive another two weeks and give me that sweet amber I'm looking for?

Hey there,

I'm somewhat of a noob, growing for 2 years. This is my first time growing Granddaddy Purple (that sadly has not turned purple) - it's a sativa dominate plant that has been flowering outside for 16 weeks. She is starting to finish up, but still popping a few white pistils. When looking through a scope, a couple trichomes have turned amber, but I was hoping to hold out for much more amber this go around. The problem is that my parents are coming to visit for a week+ over the Thanksgiving holiday so basically if I don't harvest tomorrow, I'll have to wait two weeks until I have time to deal with it.

Like I said, I was hoping to get a lot of amber this go around. But not to the point where my plant is ruined. Do you think it will survive another two weeks?

Here are some pics.....

Some Sativa's don't amber well or at all.
One other way to tell if it's harvest time is to look and see if it's foxtailing.....That's an acceptable way along with tric's cloudy to know it's ready..

I look at your pics (NICE job by the way - sativa's can be tougher to grow then most strains) and see them telling anyone who's looking.....

"I'M DONE, HARVEST ME NOW!"

I had to look up what foxtailing was. Yes, it's been doing that for the last few weeks - interesting! :-) Thank you for the compliment too. I thought this was supposed to be an Indica dominate strain with a shorter flowing time and much to my surprise here I am flowering 16 weeks later wishing this plant to finally %&*%# finish! I did breed it, but man, I think I'll wait awhile until I grow these monsters again!

Oh, simply by the look I got at it....The structure of the bud and the leaves you can see....
Say SATIVA - big time!

Don't worry about it possibly being run too long - your good....Just harvest tomorrow like you suggested....16 weeks eh? Yeah that's a good job for what you got! Pretty too.

I'd smoke that with no hesitation!
