Ok Cool so get another light is what your saying to cover more space for my babies
Problem is your not giving us what your really trying to do. If you wanna veg 5 months then by all means get 16 600 watt lights and do 1 plant per light in 50 gallon containers.

5 months veg!! 1 600wHPS? Listen to what people are saying. Do 4 high yielding plants, bushed out, under 1 600w mh/hps in a room no larger than 4x4 (3x3 if possible) And veg for 45/55 days depending on health. Too much veg or too many plants will start to reduce yield at a certain point with a 600w hps, not to mention all the extra nutrients/soil/pots/watering/individual caring and my favorite, that one plant in the back of the room in the dark corner that ends up pollinating everything! That is alot of work put in for a 600w lol

You can do 16, they will fit just dont veg more thank a few weeks. your shooting for 1+ oz per plant.
Then use 1 gallon pots.......why 3 gallon? Waste of everything .....Rule of thumb 1 gallon for every oz. With practice and time you can dbl that....maybe.....

Sea Of Green = 1 gallon pots. flip to flower at 8 - 10 inch's and water every day at lights on about 100ml to 200ml.....

ok Im thinking veg for 5 months and flower the rest what do you all think of that?
Not going to work! Too tall!

Go back to the SOG and flip at 8 -10 inch's......around a 20 -24 inch finish height....If you plan on taller plants - don't flip at any taller then 20inch's for that height room......You would need to change to 2 gallon pots to veg this way and 3's would be better but, you have now grown the size out of that 4x4 area....

Go to a 1K and get a better foot print to improve the #'s plan your working

Hey Doc thanks for the break down helps more then you know. But let me ask you this what if i focus on growing just one set of strains (3 seed per strain) can i veg for 5 months and flower the rest ?

If you veg for 5 months.....you'll get 10ft plants at the finish, if not bigger! I suppose that is light dependent in a way, but that's not the point....I'll still say that SOG is what your looking for......

I mean if you were to do a big vs small 2 grow run,,,,yeah you could grow some bigger.....BUT, your problem is you have 1 space and everything should be run at the same size to eliminate shading problems down the road........

You should be able to get near or to 1.5lbs of dry product in that space when flowering at 10" to 12" but space will come into play with that many plants......flowering at 8" to 10" would be better....

Exactly how much space do you have to work with????
All I've seen to limit you so far is your height limit of 7 ft......Your going to have to forget about veg times and pay attention to plant height to manage your height limit with accuracy!

So then if you have room for more lighting, you could do 2 area's of differing plant heights....Each with their own lighting.....

I can answer better on your reply.

Still Very new to all this bud, so please exsuse my lack of knowledge.
oh sorry mate. I forgot sometimes I was a newb once too. So you want 25 pounds from 50 plants? You will need lots of lights (bypass metre cus the power bill will go up a bit ;))and a half pound plant is probably bigger than you realise

I think I should take a picture of my grow space to give you all a better idea of what im working with. My goal is half a pound per plant. So what do i have to do to see this come true

For that goal you need bigger pots and more lights. What about intake and exhaust?, fan? dehumidifier? can your electric panel handle all of what you are planning? Are things to factor in..start small (4 plants, 5 g pots), work with that...fine tune it then upgrade lights and equipment to your needs as you learn and grow

I think you need to run a few grows and get to know what your doing before attempting anything at that level....8 oz plant in a 7 ft height restriction is not impossible......you simply have to know more about what your doing to attempt it....
I can guar - un - tee you will not have space for 16 plants and run 8 oz plants in an attic......heat problems sound daunting up there too....

Fans Check, air flow intake and exhaust check, but dehumidifier i do not have.

before you put your plants in your grow...do a dry run in the grow for a few days to dial in the temps..once the plants are in there you will need to do this again for a few days ..You said you will be growing in an attic? hot box city bro...might need an a/c..now your electric bill just went up $200 a mth:/ so many things to consider
