thanks for all the love guys. hearing you all say what you do keeps me positive about the grow.

i have more plants to share, after the topping friday i plan to start a bit of a feeding schedule. friday they are getting a cocktail of seaweed, floralicious grow, molasses, superthrive and silica solution.

Seaweed - to ramp up the microbial/bacterial health of the soil
Floralicious - some needed micronutrients to also feed the soil/plants
Molasses - again to keep the soil alive and turn those nutrients into food for the roots
SuperThrive - to encourage recovery from the topping
Silica - strengthen the stems and prepare them to hold buds later

I'm probably going to start half strength on everything friday, and then next week before I leave them for a few days go full strength mixture of the above list to get them ready for flowering a week from friday.

The bloom nutrients will be similar, FloraNova/Floralicious Bloom, Seaweed, Molasses, SuperThrive and some silica for the first week or so. I like the silica really keeps the stems strong, especially since I'm flowering with such small girls they need the extra rigidity to hold the weight of the buds. Aside from the silica that will probably the "drink of choice" throughout bloom. Once the buds really start to come in though, I'll probably back off the silica.

That's the current strategy. Anyone think I should go full strength Friday?

really depends, my LA Con was a pig when i was giving her nutes, if you think they can take them, it should be fine, if not, just take it slow

Dripper system works like a dream! I have achieved indoor soil growing nirvana :blsmoke:

The mold has dried and died. :hump:
Dripping every 6 hours for 15 minutes.
Gives the soil a chance to breathe between cycles, good balance of moist - dry.

Gwen looks ready to be topped tomorrow, she has hit her 5th node and first and second nodes look strong.
I might give Liza till Saturday before I top her, first and second nodes don't look very robust yet. I'd like the fan leaves to be more developed. :-?
Still on track for the first feeding though. Definitely going full strength the girls should respond very well. I expect to see a dramatic change in their growth.

Only concern now is what height to leave hood before I leave next week. BUT only going to be gone for two days and these girls are both nice and squatty, so maybe just lift the hood one chain link.

I'll post some pictures tomorrow before/after I top Gwen. They're beautiful! :bigjoint:

Well if you going to top before you leave, you probably wont even have to move the light, i mean it takes them a lil to recover after the topping anyways, and 2 days really isnt that long

yeah i didn't top according to schedule. i woke up with a sinus infection and i have been on my ass all day. i did go ahead and feed them, i know it would have taken about two seconds more to top but oh well. tomorrow is only a day away.

they got superthrive, dyn-gro silicon solution, maxicrop liquid seaweed, molasses and floralicious grow. i'll top them tomorrow, pics before and after of the girls then.

maybe pics tonight, i'm just way out of it.

Gave the girls a haircut today. WOW! I didn't realize how much I was going to be removing, but!! it was all in an effort to maximize my colas. From the looks of it, I should now have four evenly sized colas as opposed to one!! HOORAY!!

Pic 1 - The girls pre haircut, Liza (LS) on the left and Gwen (GWS) on the right
Pic 2 - Liza
Pic 3 - Gwen
Pic 4 - Overhead view of Gwen after her "bob"
Pic 5 - Liza overhead post topping
Pic 6 - Gwen looking a little limp (this was a hour ago, she has perked up since)
Pic 7 - Liza side view (I think she is more sativa dominant than Gwen)
Pic 8 - Liza's former top
Pic 9 - Gwen's former top
Pic 10 - Gwen on the left and Liza on the right
Pic 11 - Setup on the shelf over the main grow space, 1-23W lamp and a makeshift humidity dome, fingers crossed

Since the photos, i trimmed back the clones leaves, and switched to a better dome top that fits better and holds in more moisture. Between the dome and rooting hormone, lets hope for a clone! Although I checked on them while waiting for pics to upload and they both looked pretty limp, more so than my last cloning attempt. Still hopes are high! I want to be in that party cup competition!!

Looking great, bro! Looking foward to watching these beauties grow and fingers crossed your clones take for ya. I've been fighting with cloning for a bit now, and since I built a bubble cloner, I think I've gotten a handle on it. Feel free to take a peek through my journal in my sig (second link as if it ain't obvious) and say hello. Growing is such an adictive little hobby, eh?

Everything looks beautiful brother, glad to see it's all working out for you. I'm glad that mine is coming to a close and I can take a small break and enjoy my trip. Of course, when I get back it's getting even more serious haha.
