Guess I'll type this up while I wait for the uploads. One at a time?! Seriously RIU?!

While it pained me to trim both of my girls back as much as I did, I'm damn glad I did now. They have recovered and bounced back INCREDIBLY well!!
Just above the Second node is THE place to top! 4 equally sized main tops have erupted in healthy, vigorous growth!

They're nice and squatty and should put out some nice flowers in about 5 days after their first EVER dark period, for 24 hours!
I'm somewhat of a believer in this 24/0 light schedule, I have had no problems and it's just easier! I can check on my girls whenever I want. I also think this will make them respond quicker to 12/12 (especially after a 24 hour break) Showing sex within a day or two as opposed to 3 or 4. WE SHALL SEE!!

Pic 1 - Group Shot! Liza on the left and Gwen on the right
Pic 2 - Liza's canopy, I dig her sativa dominant leaf structure
Pic 3 - Gwen's canopy, squatty and fat leafed a typical indica
Pic 4 - Hopeful clones for my Party Cup entry!
Pic 5 - Isolated burns, one leaf on Gwen, keep a close eye, but not too concerned!

Leave your thoughts and words now!

just fine is putting it lightly. they responded EXACTLY how i hoped
should have 4 MAIN tops instead of a few unequal tops. hopefully quadrupled my yield!
by the way, that is ZERO LST just topping.
thats my plan for the party cup comp.
just above the second node! props to uncle ben for the advise!

thank you sir! Dopewear is doing a similar grow with a 250W CFL.
We're going to compare results, he's doing 4 girls under 250, I'm doing 2 under 125W just a coincidence the way the numbers worked out.

I do have a "flowering" spectrum 125W CFL I'm going to use for flower. (i always get the "K" numbers mixed up) Same brand/model just the opposing spectrum.
I also might throw in a "cool" spec low watt CFL just to round things out. OR NOT!!

thanks for checking in on me everybody!

Man those look nice.. Did you order those from greenhouse and they sent them to you or are those from a friend? Both plants look the same. But I mean healthy bushy same if that makes sense..
I guess maybe I should order some my self then talk shit.. right?

Props man... Are planing on keeping moms? Do have more seeds so you can get different phenos?

I will read back a couple pages to see if I can't find out, why make a man repeat him self..

Glad to you have on my thread!

Both are Greenhouse (not too shabby eh? )
I ordered through The Attitude with little trouble.
Not planning on perpetual, don't have the capacity. I'm a personal use, seed to harvest grower.
Sadly I only had one of each seed. I like GWS pheno, squatty and bushy, the LS pheno seemed to have a little bit of a stretch to it, quite possibly because it is more sativa dominant is my best guess. Since the topping though, LS has squatted a good bit and turned more bushy.

No one has really asked about the genetics, so I don't mind answering your questions

Last update from the garden before I hit the road tomorrow. Everything looks great, dripper system is kicking ass, I haven't had to hand water ONCE since installation. Just hand fed them my nutrient blend twice.

I dumped the tank and topped her off with 5 gallons of spring water, pH balanced at 6.5

All in all, feeling pretty good about leaving my garden for a few days. Raised the hood one chainlink tonight in anticipation of any upward growth while I'm gone.
Other than that, no concerns really.

Looking good man! Glad the drip system is working out for you. You will LOVE the lack of work even when not gone from home. :) Mine are alone for 2weeks! Can you imagine the surprise I am in for when I get back??!! LOL.. I am gone through the 4th and 5th week of flower.

oh i know!! i haven't watered them in days!! since i'm in soil i have to hand feed every couple days. i don't want to deal with figuring out nutrient strength for consistent feeding.

i did have a mini flood today! i went in for my last check and both catch trays were full and there was a puddle in the tent. i guess having a full tank created more water pressure in the pump. i turned the pump down a click and tightened down the dripper heads. they went from a steady stream to a slow drip. think i should be OK now. looking forward to flowering when i get home!!

AGH! i wish i would i knew for sure my drippers aren't flooding my closet...
i'm getting worked up over nothing, i decreased the pumps power and decreased the flow at the dripper, i should be fine. damn anxiety, gets the best of me.

well thats just it. it had been running for DAYS without any concern. but the day before i leave, i dump the tank and top it off (more full than it was before, only half full prior) i guess the added water in the tank created more pressure on the pump? long story short, the morning i'm supposed to leave, puddles WORSE than the first day of EVER running the system.

my drippers have an adjustable dial on the top can go from 0-10 GPH, so i turn them shut completely and just open them 3 clicks, compared to the 12-15 they were before. so that alone should be enough to remedy the problem.

secondly, my pump is a little baby guy had lying around for a mini 6 pot E&F tray i made. Anyhow it's adjustable too, had the pump on max power (when it was running fine before), so i turned it down to "4" out of "5"

with all that in mind, i should have no troubles. no way the system could pump NEARLY the amount it did to cause the puddles. in all honesty, probably could have left the system off, its SO over watered, whatever drips now is just going straight through to the catch tray. i mean these pots were SOAKED before i left, and just barely stopped overrunning into the catch trays when i left. so... i may just come home to overwatered girls. but better over than under... i can let them dry out for a couple days when i get back.

TL : DR - my worried mind is getting the best of me, i dialed everything down before i left, and will just have to let them rest a day or two when i return home.

How many days are you going to be gone for?
If the pots are soaked already with puddles on the top I think it might have been better to leave the drippers off

there were no puddles on top, just the catch trays were full and puddles on the floor of my tent. nothing huge probably only 1/4 cup or less. thankfully my soil drains REALLY well. other wise there would have been puddles!! but as soaked as the soil is, hindsight i could have left it off :-? oh well lesson learned. i went for 2 days without watering last time i overwatered. oh well..

live and learn.

just don't want to come home to puddles in the tent, other than that i'm not concerned. but i keep reminding myself i dialed down the system. its not dripping as much. just need to shut the fuck up at this point

they actually would have been fine. ugh! should have unplugged it. :wall::wall::wall:
