TRIPLED easily. this pheno has a definite sativa dominance. can see it in the leaves, the 12/12 stretch and the bud structure. i'm told though Lemon Skunk is supposed to be an indica dom. (it came in an indica mix pack). maybe yours is?
just hope you got some head room. my girl liked to stretch!

looking good shack i dnt think GHS LS is a indica dom plant its mostly sativa. at 9 weeks that shold be a real nice uppy buzz. spend the few dollars and get a 30x microscope and check out the trichomes when there are a few amber and the rest milky then chop away. here is a link to a great deal on the microscope this one is 60x to 100x with led light check it out: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1328

step ahead of you, already have a scope
i checked a few days ago and no amber yet, but a few clear still (much to my surprise)
i'm shooting for a nice uppy buzz with this one, so i'm planning to chop at the first sign of amber.

Spotted my first amber trichome today on Liza, starting her on pure water and molasses, probably chop her Sunday or Monday.

When I went into water the girls, I remembered the good ol' days when this grow started and it was just little Liza and little Gwen side by side. Then I remembered how the two of them were fighting for vertical growing room. I removed some of the lower limbs that weren't as vigorous, in an effort to increase space for the two plants (once I remove the nearly mature Lemon Skunk) that will remain in flower, and to increase airflow throughout the tent. The undergrowth I removed wasn't flowering as vigorously as the upper canopy and it was getting a bit crowded. Down the road I think this will pay off with healthier/sturdier plants. I might be upcanning to 1 gallon pots especially with all this bare stem exposed it would just increase the overall stability once they pack on the weight, we shall see.

so you think i should let it go for 2 more days?
1- i'm happy with the trichome color, i want cloudy with minimal amber.
2- trichome production towards the top of the colas has slowed down.
3- the aroma is becoming less citrus and more skunk

(8 weeks = 56 days)

It's anybody's preference really. 8 weeks is 56 days. But that seems too early for a plant that's 60% Sativa. 63 days (9weeks) sounds more like around the time some trichomes should start to turn amber. As long as you're happy with your smoke it's all good. I took my Sour D. down a week early to make more room for newer plants, shit happens.

i took her out of the tent, gave her a good once over, checked multiple budsites and the trichomes are showing one or two amber per leaf, so just barely starting to ripen. also the colas haven't quite finished as much as i had i thought. going to give till wednesday (8 weeks) before i consider chopping. few more days of flush with molasses couldn't hurt either. also noticed the hairs are JUST turning brown. won't take her to 9 weeks, but 8 might be the ticket.

If your going for the max yield let her go 9 weeks! If it ends up being couch lock you could just smoke less and save some everyday... just saying man

i hear you on the couchlock and smoking less.. but!! i'm attempting to avoid that at all cost i don't like to smoke till couchlock. i enjoy being social when i smoke or playing guitar, the second i smoke some hard couchlock or heavy indica, i'm worthless and get all introverted and anxious. these young lungs are getting old... or maybe its my brains

I can see that man, the first batch of my harvest had a pretty racy high. I made some hash from the clippings and crap, smoked 2 big hits and proceeded to turn my house upside down in a cleaning frenzy LOL. On the other hand you shouldn't get couchlock from a Sativa dominant plant anyway. Well I got four of them right now, so I can play around and figure out what's optimal for me.

Me lookin forward to some sweeeet stuff curious to see harvest n weight - are u gonna weigh the stuff?

don't have a scale. but i'm so damn curious i might pick up a cheap one.
