So you have amber trichomes then? I'm going through similar 10 wks since flip and lost my excitement and testing my patience
She's just moved into the cloudy amber phase. I was waiting for a 60/40 amber/cloudy before harvest and the woman goes and does this.....

I just want her to finish.... ain't nobody got the for this.

They look pretty good to me. It might be a little foxtailing. What've the temps been, and what kinda light, and how close?

I wouldn't really worry about it much myself, but those need a few more weeks or so anyways.
Everything's been great, except her start in life. She was stunted early and then re-slapped with a nute mistake.

I grow under 2x 250w HID in soil.

I don't have much of a choice. This is the first time I've seen a second pistil bloom when it seemed like it was done throwing new pistils for a good week or more.

It got my hopes up and then crushed them in the nicest way possible
Well they needed another 3 weeks anyways, so they actually probably saved you from chopping early since you posted on here and said you were about to chop in a few days. So I'd consider it a blessing. The biggest mistake people make is harvesting too early.

...but the trichs......I was doing all over checks and watching the change.....

She lied to me......

This is why I have trust issues.

You're checking the trichs on the buds, not the sugar leaves right?
Both buds and leaves, under leaves. If there was an area to look at trichs, I did my best to get in there with a digimicro so I got a solid overall view of where the plant was in its life phase.

I swear to dog this plant was within the the frame of finishing.

Honestly I haven't looked at trichs in over a year now, but I'm lazy. I've just been judging by how the buds look. Pistils receeded, and calyxes swollen.

I don't know if my brain would let me eyeball it without having a meltdown.
After you let a few plants fully mature, you'll know what you're looking for basically. Give them another couple weeks and then post more pics, and people can give advice of when to chop. My guess is those need another 3 weeks or so.
