[serious] New pistils on a finishing plant

So my Kaya Gold was almost done. It wasn't throwing new pistils, the old pistils were all brown and pulled into the bud and I was just waiting for the trichs to get the right amber/cloudy ratio.

Everything was going well.

I decided to give an up close look at the buds tonight and the fucking plant is starting another round of new pistils.

I have been tweeking the nutrient formula I use here and there, just trying to slow down the nitrogen defeciency that happens near the end of plant life and I had read that flowering plants use Sulphur in greater quantity near the end of life so I doubled my Sulphur, adjusted the pH and that was 2 days ago.

I fully expected to be chopping it down in a few days and now I have to wait and see if more trichs pop or if there's continual new growth.

Did I trigger a second flower phase?
Has anyone else seen a second pistil bloom without trying?

I'm not super upset by this but I am confused. This plant looked like it was a week away from being done two days ago. Now it looks like I have an additional week on top of my week away.

My tangie got a second flush of pistils around 8 weeks into flower. I let it go 12, but it probably could have gone alittle longer

It's probably done. Is this one of the plants that got close to your light? Could be stress.
I've grown 3 greenpoint strains and they all throw white pistils til the end.

obvious the dominant pheno grows to maturity before the recessive pheno has reached maturity

next time more research on you part will prevent you growing unstable plants

its vital when talking plants you mention not only the plants name but the breeder too

good luck

I just took a bunch of pics, my interwebs is shit in the porch so if you need more pics, it will have to wait till I get back in the house.

This shows it has one or two new pistils but there's one or two new pistils on every fucking bud.

Breeder is "Nirvana" but supplier is Seedsman. It should be a 7-9 week strain but who really knows.

Looks good. Don't trust breeder times. It will more likely be 9-12 weeks total if you're counting from flip.

So you have amber trichomes then? I'm going through similar 10 wks since flip and lost my excitement and testing my patience

Two different buds from the other ones. Seperate branches, both with new pistils on top.

As you can see from the rest of the bud, she looked done.
They look pretty good to me. It might be a little foxtailing. What've the temps been, and what kinda light, and how close?

I wouldn't really worry about it much myself, but those need a few more weeks or so anyways.
