Seedsman velvet grow.

quite the story here Hidden Agenda, always a bit uplifting to see a plant make it against the odds
just had a similar experience myself, nursed a plant back from near death, in my case in turned out to be a male
curious how the bud smokes, been looking over seedsman, starting with low priced breeders and working my way up

seedsman actually has one of the best WW strains out there. I preferred the seedsman to the dutch passion ww.

I dont grow my plants very big. i switch to flower at 6-8", so i can get a lot of small plants under a little light.

Typically this works better for me in yield. Also, the buds tend to be more dense this way than if i let the plant get big and branchy.

I guess it's just kind of a carryover from my aeroponic days. I'd put 20+ clones under a 600w light and go straight to flower.


I want a consistent harvest, so the best way for me is to put a few small plants into flower every couple weeks.

I guess I could do one a week.

It's got 3 weeks left. we're 2/3 of the way there!

buds are getting bigger every day. great bud to leaf ratio on the main cola.. some of the lower branches are more leafy than id like but they are still swelling and have plenty of time. With the size of this container and the stress this plant went through if i got .5g/watt i'd be ecstatic. it's looking doable! This strain isn't supposed to be a big yielder anyways, plus i didn't use any special techniques to get the lower branches closer to the light.

I'm using nothing but GH flora and molases at this point. Going to do a 1.5wk flush. I'd flush longer but the container is really small... so whatever.

I'm not very experienced with soil to be honest. All of my grows have been hydro. This setup is basically just to keep me entertained for the time being.

7 weeks in, aprox 2 more to go. still see buds growing every day.


I'm happy with what this has done. consider i have no ventilation on this closet, no air movement, nothing, and it's a 150w light.

I'm also using gh flora nutes, in soil. the container is way too small. I've fried the main cola on this plant pretty good

The only thing i can hope for is some more resin production in the next two weeks on the main buds. the popcorn guys are sicky and snow covered already. I'm only flushing for a week on this one.

Eh, i'd say the main cola is alright considering the 150.. just the leaves got messed up

If i put my fists end to end it's about that big right now, and the buds underneath are growing up into it. I think yield will still be considered good for a 150w hps, especially considering this strain isn't a big yielder. I'm not growing it anymore after this more than likely. I put two of the last 6 clones i have under the other 150 (as you can see).. I'm going to go back to growing white widow for now.

here's a pic of the main cola. weighed just over 50g wet.

I haven't taken down the rest of the plant.


Considering the pot size and im only using GH flora, I'm not too disappointed. I'm switching my nutes up on the next grow and using better soil and larger pots. I'll have pics of them soon. I did a little supercropping on the new ones.


Will be adding a few WW clones to the closet over the next week.

you never know when the special strain that hits you just right may show up

There's still a lot of weight on the plant for sure. I'm not chopping the rest for a few days. I have at least half a dozen decent size colas on this plant, so 2+ oz is not out of the question.


Like I said. i'm used to SOG style aeroponic growing, and this 150w light is pretty cool, but doesn't get the penetration of the 600's i like to use.
