So i don't know what is going on with these seeds don't know if any one has seen my other post asking about GA3/Gabberellic Acid but have been trying to germ these seeds, i've tried soaking them in plain water, water with superthrive, GA3, GA3 with superthrive and just putting them in to papper towl the same thing happens the casing of the seed has a thick skin over it to begin with and the shell of the seed just turns black here is an image.IMG_1328.JPG they are on a heat pad and every thing so don't know this is my fouth time now trying to germ these seeds and i'm gutted because there is nothing I can do about it because seed banks don't refunds:cuss::cry: thanks in advance.

Sounds like u got ahold of some old seeds. People who use ga3 are usually trying to germ old seeds that otherwise wouldn't germ because of they're old. Good viable seeds just need H2O and 3-5 days. And I've had plenty of seeds go black from seed banks....and those never germ, and if they're black and take more than 5 days to germ and they do happen to germ, it will be a crap plant, just my experience. Spend the $ and get some new beans from a reputable breeder. You'll be glad you did

Have you tried soaking them for 12 hours and then planting them in damp dirt? Thats what i do and i get great germ rates. Just make sure the temps are at 78-80 and theyre in the dark.
