Grew once before but didnt stick with it. Only made it to about 4-6 weeks in then kinda gave up, this time I'm back and ready to see some crystals!

Lights- Currently 4x 5000k CFLs on for 18/6, adding more later on for sides of plants.
Soil- Currently in MG, but have new organic soil to transplant to.
Water/ Nutes- Plain, cleaned water and no nutrients other than whats in MG

Pots- Currently in fiber cups, have some 8in pots to transplant into.
Fan/ Ventilation- 10" oscillating fan
Temps- Working on getting a thermometer

I have learned a ton of information but still am trying to learn more. If anyone has some help, pointers, or any other info feel free to add.

Week 1 summary: Plants sprouted fine and looked healthy up until yesterday. One seedling was fallen over and noticed purpling of the stems on all three plants. Then today the other two were fallen over in the same fashion, same appearance. I watered them and throughout the day they have come back to life it appears.

Did they just get too thirsty or could there be another problem? Thanks for looking, and in advance for any help

looks good but i would greatly advise you to seperate you babes...the sooner the better... iv heard some bad shit about planting 2 in a pot, but yeah.....and for the falling over..... idk... just try too see if they get any better within the next few days.....hope all goes well... ill be subbed to see updates...
and the purple is nothing to worry about it happens all the time.... but once the second/third set of leaves, it sould correct itself

thanks for the info man. Do you think its too soon to transplant them? Kinda nervous about uprooting them when theyre so young

with the pots you have (peat-moss if im correct) all you need to do is put the pot in some dirt(inside an other pot) .... the humidity and the roots will pass the small pot without a problem or disturbances.... and for transplanting its never too early..... just dont disturb the roots system....
and just to make it obvious you dont need to take the plant out of the pot.... just put the pot inside the bigger pot filled with dirt and give it a good watering................
if you need any more help just send me a PM....
ohh and euh again im still high so if it doesnt make sense... im terribly sorry lol.....

hahaha, nah man that makes sense. I was debating on whether or not to leave them in the moss-pots or not. I kinda wanted to get them out of the MG soil and separate the two seedlings from the one pot. Im gonna make the switch tomorrow and update either tomorrow night or the next day.

the man done give u good transplant advice so i wont go there.
u dint mention ph, which is a vital factor.

but cfl wise, i am a cfl man, mostly due to space heat and power considerations.
your bulbs are the wrong spectrum you need one set at 3500k another at 2700k or is it 27 and 65?? shit im drunk
https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/9582-marijuana-light-spectrum.html
mostly just becuase of the available cfl bulbs these are the numbers to shoot for.

secondly. for mj to grow effectivly it needs a MIN of 3000 lumen per/sq ft.
it can be grown at less but results are lackluster at best. and shoot for more than 3000 L P/sqft if u can.

C. almost 74% of a spiral cfl's light is projected from its sides, so for best results mount them horizontaly, with a mirror above.

4. MIRRORS. cfls do not have the best light propagation rates, so learn to cut glass, and buy some yardsale mirrors
this will reduce how many bulbs u need, not by alot, but its alot better than mylar.

BOB. if u want to continue through flowering, you need to at LEAST double your bulb count.

Thanks NOW, according to that thread it says for veg. use anything from 4100k and up, and for flowering use 4000k and down. I just picked up two 6500k that "put out 1600 lumens" each. So that should have me up to almost the 3000 lumens mark. And I defiantly plan on getting a minimum of 4 more lights going, just need that next pay check.

*I think you meant 27 and 65

you def want 65k for veg..keep them a few inches away till they have a few sets of leaves then keeep lights 2in away(try to put most light on sides unless you want short plants)...and they fell over and turned purple from a combo of #1 those cup things are supposed to be soaked before dirt is added..and they seem to dry out very fast then rob H20 from soil #2 the lights coul have been too close....good luck

Just a quick update from this morning. Transplanted two of them into the bigger pots, got rid of one that wasnt looking good at all. Watered and got the lights adjusted, lets hope all is well.

Well its been about 8 hours since the transplant and both plants appear to be doing good, if not BETTER!:blsmoke: Also added two Y-Split sockets so its uped my light count to 6. 3x 23w and 3x13w (need some more cash for some bigger ones).

Also I've been trying to find out about some good-decent nutrients that I can buy locally. Not really big into ordering stuff online, so are there some good brands out there that will work?IMAG0319.jpg

sorry for nutes i dont really know........ :( but i really like the way you set up your light.... just make sure you keep the lights as close as possible..... i mean like 2 inches way ,3 max.

Nothing really to update on my plants today/ night, except they're both starting to look a lot better now that they're setting into the new soil.

In other news, got my first tattoo tonight :bigjoint:

i would use CANNA

its an easy noob proof nutrient solution... look for CANNA Terra Vega for Vegging ... and CANNA Terra Flores for Flowering...

others might agree also...the bottle itself tells you how much you need and the measuring way is easy! you will look it..look it up!
