Sandy colored JWH-018?

My basic understanding of the compound is that when pure, it should be a white, fluffy, microcrystaline substance. The most recent batch i got is a sandy colored, almost clumpy powder with an awful odor to it. When I confronted the vendor they stated it was because they are using a "higher" quality set of ingredients and that it is undoubtedly pure. They continued on saying that I should pay to have it tested and if it comes back as adulterated that they will give me further consideration.

Does anyone here know what would be contributing to the difference between this batch and every other batch i've ever gotten?

Also, should i be asking for a replaced product or even partial refund or is this considered to be within the limitations of acceptable?

I have heard of impurity >5% that can attribute to clumping and discoloration... so there could be some degradation, impurities, etc. If you're worried about it, ask them to replace it.

I have, but they said until I can have a lab prove that it is less than 99.7% that they are sticking with that purity rating and will not replace it. Im not too worried about it, I just can't believe that the reason for the off color and smell is caused by a higher quality of ingredient.

I would not do business with them after being told that one....

JWH-xxx's can turn different colors with minimal degradation.. maybe they have a left over solvent or something. It's probably fine.
